I played a Gibson Les Paul classic which is said to have a 60's neck and the neck felt really thin. It felt like a fender neck. What other models of les pauls have really thin necks? When they say 60's slim taper necks, are they all same from the different models or different?
When I played an Epiphone Les Paul Standard the neck was said to be a slim tapered neck, and the neck felt definately thicker than the Gibson Classic.
So is there a difference between a 60's slim taper and a regular slim taper?
