  1. Just wondering. Gibson still lists its fingerboard as rosewood. Are they still using rosewood OR layered rosewood, or are they using a different wood?
  2. Well, if you look at this MLP post... http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/custom-shop/5179-help-how-install-grover-rotomatics-properly.html you will eventually see a post by Roman Rist saying that the holes should line up. Do you think this is true?
  3. One quick question - Would I be able to fit a set of grovers on my Les Paul Traditional? I was told I could because the stock tuners had the bushings with the nut and washer. Is this true? Also, does that mean I can't put any grovers on a les paul with press-in bushings? Thanks!
  4. Hey guys... I am getting a new Les Paul Custom, and I don't know what colour I should choose. So, I am deciding to let you guys decide. Pick a colour you like the most in the poll. Thanks!
  5. Grovers. But they don't really fit Les Pauls without reaming, right?
  6. Yes that's why my guitar is at the luthier... it's not the tuning, that's fine. It's just that I HATE the look of those vintage tuners...
  7. A great combo for the Les Paul is the Marshall MA50 Combo. The smallest you can get for the model, but it kicks a**. I'm not joking. I have a Marshall MA 100H with a matching cabinet and it's amazing!
  8. Sorry, the Paul is getting a new nut...
  9. Do Kluson Wafflebacks fit on it? o.O Curious...
  10. I'm trying to find some tuners that fit an R8. I have heard that many of the companies like Grover and Sperzel don't fit les pauls. Which ones would fit an R8? Thanks!
  11. Hi, I was wondering if a Seymour Duncan TS-2 Triple Shot would fit on a les paul. Thanks, Victor
  12. So you can't bend and hit another string? (Im guessing no.)
