  1. I have an older Epiphone Hummingbird made in Korea in 1994.   It's the solid top, a nice looking guitar and sound is OK but I've just not played it at all in many years now since I've gotten a few Masterbilt all-solid guitars.  I just ordered a new inspired by Gibson Hummingbird and looking forward to it!

  2. I have to say that's the one thing which I think lets down the EJ200 as a player (from my stubby fingered perspective) when compared to the J200 (I'm not quality of woods/construction). The slightly wider nut width on the GIbson is much more comfortable especially when the guitar is more likely to fretted at the cowboy end.

100% agree! It's the reason I'm so fond of the Masterbilt EF-500!

  3. ya that is pretty cool. I hear the commercials about Tito's vodka and how it beat all other vodkas in a competition but I have yet to try it. Anyway I have a PR-100 from many years ago and I always just assumed it's the same as the DR-100 just a diff name now. Anyway ya it was set up perfectly and sounds pretty nice for a $100 guitar. I even put 13's on mine and it holds up just fine.

  4. Ya the reason I was thinking about getting one now is because they started making them with solid tops again in the last couple of years. Of course, musicians friend says it's a select spruce top lol. I would rather not buy one without the solid top so I guess I'll just wait an see about these new models you guys are mentioning.
