Hey troops. I'm Ped from the UK. After many years, finally scored a Gibson . She's a bit of an oddity.....2011 J45 TV. Banner headstock, torrefied Adirondack Red Spruce top, Honduras Mahogany B&S, hide glue etc. I think it's a 42 Banner, but the finish is a cherry burst which I believe wasn’t introduced until the 60s. Bought from a reputable, lovely and knowledgeable dealer who told me it is one of 5 produced - originally a custom shop order of one, they knocked out a further 4. But it doesn’t say Custom Shop on label.....and there's no evidence of any other like it online. Sounds beautiful and big...... any thoughts IMG_4692.jp2
