  1. Thanks for the update. Did you experience anything better when switching to the R3 nut? I don't have the Lifeson version but something seems a bit off with the nut so I am thinking I want to try an R3 nut. Anyone else out there know what's up? Should we use an R3 or R4 nut? Thanks Mike Bradley
  2. Hi, Question: I understand the neck radius of an Axcess with Floyd is 12". If so, why does it have a R4 locking nut instead if R3? Can someone confirm the neck radius as 10" or 12"? Please Help. Thanks Mike Bradley
  3. Hi, Does anyone know if the Floyd Rose on the Les Paul Standard Axcess is made in Germany or Korea? Just curious. I am not referring to the Lifeson model which is not an original Floyd Rose. Let me know if anyone knows. Thanks Mike
  4. Hi, and thanks for the info. I believe you are referring to the Alex Lifeson model. I know that one uses a Graphtech Bridge. The original Axcess use an original Floyd Rose (no piezo). They do make the original in Titanium. Anyway, just wondering if anyone knows the nut and trem block size on the original FR on the original Axcess? Thanks Mike
  5. Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me the specs to the Original Floyd Rose on the Les Paul Axcess. I think it uses and R4 nut but can anyone confirm? Also, is there a specific Trem Block size (32mm, 37mm, or 42mm)? Please advise, I would like to upgrade my Axcess to the new Titanium Floyds but need to know what to order??? Thanks in advanced. Mike
  6. Thanks, I did not that email address? I will try. Mike
  7. Hi, I noticed on the Gibson Custom website (http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Les-Paul/Gibson-Custom/Les-Paul-Custom.aspx) that the Stock Les Paul custom comes in the following colors... "The Les Paul Custom is available in Antique White, Ebony, Heritage Cherry Sun Burst, Wine Red and Silver Burst". Is that a typo or has the Custom Shop started shipping white LP Customs in Antique White instead of Alpine White? Can someone shed some light on this? I prefer Classic White over Antique but Alpine is way to white for my taste. Anyone? Thanks MIke B
  8. Hi, I was wondering if a standard Les Paul pickguard will fit on a Les Paul Axcess with a stoptail. I already know that the standard pickguard will NOT fit on a Axcess with the Floyd Rose. Anyone know? Thanks Mike
  9. Earth to Gibson. Does anyone still answer these threads? Would love to hear some knowledgeable info about where a 1985 Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion was made. Thanks Mike
  10. Hi, I just purchased a new Shery Crow Acoustic and I am not sure what guage strings come on them. Does anyone know the standard guage Gibson ships with these or similar acoustics? Thanks Mike B
  11. Perhaps Admin can answer this question. I would like to buy a replacement case for my Howard Roberts Fusion. I am assuming based on interaction with my local Gibson Dealer that there is more case for the HRF. I would imagine most Gibson cases are pretty generic. What case today will fit a Howard Roberts Fusion? ES-335, ES-175, Byrdland models? Please let me know so my dealer can order the right case. Thanks Mike
  12. Staxman, Which Guitar Centers have the Stop Tail Axcesses? My local Guitar Centers said they have heard of no such thing. Are you sure they were Axcesses? Still hoping it's true but you seem to be the only one that has seen one. Thanks Mbrad2112
  13. Hi, In this particular thread I have seen a mention of 1) Stop Tail LP Axcess' at Guitar Centers and 2) a Black Custom Axcess version at Wildwood. Can anyone substantiate this? I would love it if this were true but there is no mention of a Stop Tail Std. Axcess or Custom Axcess anywhere on Gibson's site. I do realize that early last year there seem to be "plans" for both but Gibson has only talked about the Floyd Rose Axcess Std. since then. Anyone? Mike
  14. You did plenty. Thanks. Maybe they started binding in 81. Thanks Mike
