The big rock stars play 335s, not 345s or 347s or 355s (mostly) and certainly not the Lucille. That's why the 335 is more popular and why it's worth more. Stupid but true.

The 347 has an ebony fret board, the 335 is rosewood aside from one or two limited run models which had ebony.

I read this whole thread though which convinced me to buy some Martin ebony pins, imported all the way from Mexico, for my HD-28V. I'm quite happy with the results. -

The just released 180 gram remastered Apostrophe' by Frank Zappa (of course). GREAT job on this one as have been all the remastered Zappa vinyl releases. -
Not to totally derail this thread but Charlie Brown, if you could only keep one of those SGs, which one would it be? They all look really nice.
