For 11s you'd want to widen the slot a little bit. Try putting a little relief in the neck, it sounds like the truss rod is too tight.

None of the fonts look different, from what I can see, from that old Gibson legacy page. Vintage Richlite and I'd say C- for cosmetics, it wasn't pampered but if it's cheap enough it might be worth getting.

You can loosen the strings up all the way and see if a crack propogates. I wouldn't keep it no matter what.

That would class it up, that white didn't really work on that guitar.

My Reverse Studio is a physically smaller guitar than the Firebird V and VII, I don't know if that's the case with the non-reverse. The case is shorter and narrower as well so it's easy to pick out in a line up.

No, it's not the flu as the symptoms are quite a bit different: heart, lungs, joints, beady little eyeballs and then hock up globs last on the list. I sold a stereo amplifier, waked fairly rapidly up a ramp and some steps with it and I just had to freeze in place for a few minutes as my heart was going berserk. That's not the flu. Life seems to be work, sleep, play guitar, buy stereo gear, repeat. A yanked tooth shouldn't bleed for long at all, you'd better get with the doctor about that one.
