Normally we like pictures but in this case, please don't. Not guitar related but I did get a "new" stereo preamp the other day. Es muy bueno!

Now that I think of it, I had a faded yellow 05 or 07 SG Special and I really liked that guitar but I had to sell it to pay the mortgage. UGH! The paint work was poorly done (on purpose, I believe) but it was a great guitar. I don't remember what the case was like, a real Gibson one or maybe it came with a cheapie. It was probably a gig bag from the factory. $400 is exactly what I paid for it, $400 is what I sold it for. Just because it's not gold plated everything with an ebony fret board doesn't mean it can't be a great guitar.

At first it was WTF but it works on that guitar. Enjoy it!

Satin finish Special, I don't know what that case is from. I think it's a 2007. You'd have to play it to see how much you like it.

There was one of the Goldtops selling used here locally but I procrastinated and when I finally called him a second time it was gone.

I've heard this model delivers that open, warm, airy, mid-gain tone which is reminiscent of Mick Taylor.

You're welcome. Toggle switch looks funny, too. Chibson but for $100, it'd probably be a nice guitar. Just make it real clear this is NOT the real thing.

I think mine's a 2006 and the first thing that jumped out at me was the knobs: they could have been changed but that spacing is just off. Somebody could have changed the pick guard but those ears look kind of mushed together.

Knob placement looks off, bound f-holes?

I have not seen that. Does it have nibs? In other words, are the ends of the fret wire covered or exposed?
