  1. Joe Namath, who now looks like a bleached prune, is happily hawking junk to seniors on old rerun shows where the advertising is cheap.
  2. Heck, I owned one from new back in the 70s but a honey burst, I think it was? It was too nice I was afraid I'd mess it up so it was a case queen. It was the heaviest damned thing I've ever owned, maybe they shielded the control cavity with lead. I still think Dub-T-123's Les Paul is the best looking one I've ever seen.
  3. Email seems to be hit and miss, give them all after the holiday.
  4. I wonder how much it'll bring in at the end? Lots of them look to be in the $100,000 range.
  5. That's the neck on the 335 Fat Neck, too. Kid at GC kept hovering over me to buy it. No thank you...
  6. A guy I used to work with developed that illness after I left and I'm told he was always trying to cut the imaginary fibers growing out of his arms with a Leatherman tool and then yank them out. The owner of the dealership eventually paid him to not return to work.
  7. She was pretty messed up last time she was in the news: https://www.livescience.com/50359-joni-mitchell-morgellons-disease.html
  8. Way to go, you contentious hosers!
  9. True but everyone knows the 2159s have the most period correct plastics of the lot.
  10. WOW!!! I see more than a few I could not afford to own but would sure like to.
  11. I never paid attention but look at his technique: https://fb.watch/6sO6i_5FyM/
  12. Lucille and they made a 335 Fat Neck around 2008 or 09, I believe. That 335 Fat Neck was like war club, the Lucille is just stout from one end to the other.
  13. There's only one cure for this bickering about nothing:
  14. I'll take your word for that one. Back to work for me.
  15. No, I never did but I liked that it was there. You have a top of the line guitar you want the top of the line features. I do use the ToneSuck Control a lot just for amusement.
  16. There's always another one, those manufacturers are pretty prolific. I really would like a 355 w/ ebony, Lyre, ToneSuck and maybe stereo. I would like them better if the price would drop by $2000...
  17. It HAS been a while. Actually found myself looking for a semi(?) hollow body single cutaway w/ P90s earlier today... Chimney is next and I keep having subwoofer amp problems which is keeping me busy replacing the pieces of Chinese rubbish.
  18. I've seen Dweezil twice, it's nice to hear the music again, the band is always really tight and Dweezil is quite the guitar player.
  19. That really was the best thing, you never knew what you were going to get. Some nights he just conducted, other nights it was all guitar. We will never see the likes of him again.
  20. I was called 2 years ago, spent 4 days at the Courthouse and sent packing. However, the generous check I received in the mail from the county made me feel almost guilty for accepting it.
  21. They were the greatest. I couldn't help but notice John Lennon trying to shake a carpenter ant out of an F-hole. Hate when that happens!
  22. Nitro appears to put them off their feed. Picked up some carpenter ant granules and spread it all around that one tree they're still running around on, maybe I can bump them off that way. I sure hope so.
  23. Lots of stuff today but mainly became the proud papa of maybe 40 baby boa constrictors. I was wondering if she was ever going to have them and today was the day. Mom's pretty big (maybe 9-10 foot) and she put herself into a 5' cage with a 3' shallow rubbermaid container and had the babies in the container. I don't know how many are in there but they look to be a couple inches deep. I'll leave them alone until tomorrow and then put them in individual containers with a damp paper towel and a water dish. Boas give semi-live birth (soft eggshell kind of like us) and it bursts when they come out. They live off of the yolk for 2 weeks, shed and then are ready to start eating small mice. I'll keep one for myself and sell the rest.
