  1. He seems a very down to earth kind of guy, and a great guitar player too!
  2. Hughes & Kettner numero uno. Not sure if I'd have voted that way, but what do I know since I've never played with a Hughes & Kettner amp.
  3. Anybody shopped there? I've seen their stuff on youtube and since I live across the other side of the world, just wondered what it's like there and if what their gear is like. They had a dude playing a '57 Les Paul Gold Top and it gave me such a bad case of GAS, but I'll just have to wait until I can get over to L.A. sometime. Anyway, just curious to know if anyone's bought guitars or amps and what price and service is like?
  4. Congrats....she's a stunner!
  5. I have the '61 Reissue and when she's dialled it really kicks A$$. Sounds close to Angus' tone when using the bridge pup. Must admit I've only played via a Marshall MA 50 combo amp. Sounds great to my ears anyway.
  6. I would hope that if a new Black Sabbath album and tour is in the offing, then it isn't about money. They all have more than they'll spend in two lifetimes anyway. I really hope they do reunite for an album but keep it in the style of Black Sabbath, Paranoid, and Master of Reality. Time will tell I suppose.
  7. Thats the great thing about music. It has no boundaries!
  8. "You Really Got Me" by The Kinks was good but the version by Van Halen was better IMHO.
  9. Tales Of Brave Ulysses - Cream w/Eric Clapton
  10. You Can't Always Get What You Want - The Rolling Stones
