  1. It's normal for 'nitro' finishes to feel a little sticky, they take a long time to cure. Leave 'em out the case, play them alot, wipe them down. It'll go away eventually. I notice darker finishes seem to take longer too. It's all part of the charm ;o)
  2. Check to see if there's a little allen screw hole on the arm housing, some modern Floyds have this for tightening the arm.
  3. That looks really good, HUGE improvement. I like the hybrid look
  4. Is your tech prepared to retop? FR installation on a regular LP is well, an adventure to put it lightly.
  5. Thanks! I'm not sure I'm sold on those colors, I'm going to wait & see if they roll out some more. Great features though overall.
  6. Yeah I read about that on the LPF, that's very cool! All 3 positions? Nice.
  7. Wow, that looks great! Nuthin wrong with jamming Rush either, I'm a big fan too. Thanks for the pix & report. What amp are you running? (nice floorboard there)
  8. That's cool! (I like the fact you couldn't wait, and snagged one!) The gun metal grey almost sounds like a transparent black from your description. Enjoy!
  9. Wow, it must be happening!
  10. Sweet. Thanks for the good news!
  11. I was simply eluding to what may possibly be the hold up on the Axcess coming out. Perhaps since the Schon came first, Neal may want a piece of it, design credit, etc etc...you know, those rock star negotiations LOL! Yes the electronics are different, but the meat & potatoes of the design are from Neal's sig guitar. Somehow I get the sense it's not production problems, but rather the lawyers, as to why we're not seeing the Axcess in stores right now. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this.
  12. Cool! Finally some news! I hope Schon is cooperative and we get to see this model come out! Sweet.
  13. Could it be Alex's is Custom Shop, and the Axcess is Gibson USA made?
