  1. Dave doesn’t give a rats a$$. why would he?
  2. I saw ZZTOP about 3 years ago. Great show! So glad I saw them. The death of Dusty, unfortunately, means the end of one of the greatest rock bands there ever was. He's going to a different Pearly Gates now.
  3. Nice looking V. And what a great price! Congratulations!!!
  4. You obviously know nothing about that festival. They have rock bands all the time. Deep Purple, Elvis Costello, Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd, ZZ TOP (and the list goes on and on) have all played there. And I am pretty sure they are rock bands.
  5. Ebony knobs look great!
  6. Nope, that’s what’s so great about music. There is no right or wrong way. Just your way. And as long as your way makes you happy, that’s all that matters.
  7. First pic is entire board (2 boards next to each other). Plug into a Fender FTN-1 tuner, Ibanez Weeping Demon wah, Keeley Compressor, Donner Stylistic Fuzz, ZVEX Fuzz Factory, Radial Tonebone Hot British distortion, MXR Ten Band EQ, Donner Noise Killer, BBE Sonic Stomp. In the FX Loop I have a Donner Jet Convolution (nice flanger), Digitech Digidelay, Hardwire RV-7 Reverb. I have a Truetone 1 Spot CS 12 which powers them all nicely. I have a WOBO ABY pedal that I use to switch between 2 speaker cabinets and a Tascam 24 track recorder. And an AB Loop Master pedal I use to switch between 2 different amps. It's a lot of pedals, but I use all of them to some degree. I have at least 10 more pedals that I currently am not using. But I sometimes substitute pedals for others.
  8. Dixie Dregs is the only other one I can think of. If you haven't heard them you may want to check them out. Steve Morse's first band. Southern, progressive rock, with a violin. I love it!
  9. He was the other singer in the band too and had a great voice, singing lead sometimes.
  10. Robby had a significant role in Kansas sounding the way it did. His violin is what made Kansas stand out from a lot of other bands. Still does.
  11. I get those decades mixed up sometimes too. The years between 75 and 85.
  12. Leftoverture came out in 1976. The tour couldn’t have been during the 80s.
  13. I have a few Kansas albums. Dude could play the fiddle!
  14. Most that I’ve seen are black.
  15. You left out some important details. Did your friend buy it new? From who? And how do you know the electronics have never been touched?
  16. I have a 2014 SG. It does not have the e-tuners on it.
  17. Pinch is correct. It came with the tuners it has. Not strange at all. RCT is also correct.
  18. Did you see the part in the show where Gene admits this? He flat out says that one of his biggest problems was/is his ego! I've never heard him say that before, ever . But he said it. He knows how others perceive him in that way. And he said he regrets it. Besides, the list of musicians who have an ego, well let's just say that list would go on for miles! And their biggest accomplishment is selling multiple platinum albums. They did that themselves with the music they created.
  19. Just because you have the right to do something, it doesn’t mean you should do it. YOU appear to be the one on the high horse. Not Sparky.
