  1. I've had one since around 1994. Been a great pedal.
  2. Although slight, it might matter a little more on an acoustic guitar where you have a lot more resonance going on.
  3. I have both a Dot and Tele, along with a couple Pauls, an SG, and a couple Strats and a Gibby doublecut... I play a good bit of rhythm and find myself gravitating more and more to the Tele. The dot feels really big to me (I'm average sized guy), whereas the Tele has a good size/feel. Sound is great. Neck is better feeling to me than the Dot, which feels huge. They're both cool guitars though.
  4. I have an Elitist plaintop Les Paul that has a Gibson 57 classic in the neck, covered, nickel, and in the bridge has an uncovered zebra SD 59. They work great together, love 'em and no plans to change them. The 59 is a little rawer, but it's also in the bridge slot, so its hard to really compare. I don't think you can go wrong with a 59.
  5. DiMarzio Virtual PAFs. Also replaced the pots and switch with Gibson parts. Nice guitar
  6. I've had a Blues Driver since whenever they came out, and love it love it love it.
  7. Not another epi but got a Taylor 314ce Monday. Wow and more wow. Hadn't bought an acoustic guitar in about 12 years, and this thing is great. Don't have pictures yet, but it looks just like this one: http://www.sweetwater.com/guitargallery/acoustic/all/s20081028017/ This thing is amazing, and I haven't even plugged it in to hear how the "Expression" system sounds.
  8. I don't know what price range those amps are in, but I recently got a Fender 65 deluxe reverb (http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/65DeluxeRev/) and can't believe how incredible it sounds. I had previously been playing an Epi Valve Jr Head, a homemade Fender Champ clone, and a Vox VR-30, all of which sound decent in their own right. Granted the Fender is a lot more expensive than the others, but wow. I think it's 22 watts, and can be cranked up in a small area to sound good but not completely kill your ears. It can also push my Marshall 412 cab for more volume...
  9. I checked this morning, and it is projecting that I'll get the guitar tomorrow, which is crazy fast. I can't wait to see how it sounds and plays. It'll be a major upgrade from the early 90s Korean Squire I have....
  10. Well, since I can't seem to find any Elitists anymore I have ordered a new guitar - F3nder Am3rican Stra+ in a finish they call "candy cola". Can't wait ti get it, figure I'll have it this time next week....
  11. Of the guitar players I know, only one names his. I do not.
  12. replacement tuners, 57 classic, and 57 classic plus for the dot studio I'm upgrading. And we're doing my family's Christmas this weekend - should pick up a few more parts! I'm hoping for the Bigsby and roller bridge! BTW, I've had a Boss Blues Driver since around 93 or 94, and that's a great little pedal.
