  1. Hey Dave. Thanks. Long time, no see.

I would love to see Spain. Or any place in Europe for that matter. My middle son just got back from a trip to Eastern Europe. My wife is going in August with her sister and step mom to Ireland. So far for me, I don't even have a passport yet. sad.gif

Hey Saturn, get with the program... Hahahah.

  2. Just joined a new band, Country and Bluegrass, which I never dreamed I’d be playing but I’m really enjoying it. Working on a bunch of new tunes such as Gentle On My Mind, Wagon Wheel, Ghost Riders in the Sky, Those Memories of You, Burning Ring of Fire, Mississippi Woman...etc Then were adapting some classics to Bluegrass like: Born to Be Wild, Sweet Child of Mine, Bad Moon rising. I’m then singer and this stuff really suits my voice... Who knew???

  3. hi, thank so much for your answer, the guitar cost me around US$ 1,100. It's a model who comes with the Maestro Trem originally.... and yes i realy enjoy it, a great guitar!

Hmmm, I don't think so, never saw one with the maestro tremolo… Just enjoy it... [thumbup]

  4. Looks good to me and it's a beauty… What did you pay for it if you don't mind telling… I don't think the blues hawk was a popular enough or expensive enough guitar for anyone to consider making counterfeits. I don't think I have ever seen one that has a bigsby on it before so it's either a rare one or someone had it modded. Either way just enjoy the guitar, if you got it for a good price you did very well….

  5. I had a conversation with Jim Morrison years ago in Paris. Maybe I can shed some light on this subject:

It was a chance meeting down in a cafe off the Rue de L’Unbathed, late summer 1970 I think.

I was sitting at a small table by myself, smoking Gauloises and trying to drink-off a small hangover I had going with a glass of Cabernet Swinevienon.

It wasn’t helping, as I recalled, so I began working on the whole bottle. (Nothing rinses those rough little sweaters off your teeth like a dry French red wine.)

I’ve never looked at popular music quite the same way again. To this day, I can never hear a Hendrix song or a Doors tune without getting a little melancholy, and more than a little hungry for some barbequed ribs.

    [sad]

You win, best story I have ever read on the forum and I 've been here a while…
