  1. Don’t recall the nut width on the one I had, but I assume it was somewhere between 1.68 and 1.75, because it was easy to fingerpick. Plenty of distance between strings for me.
  2. Coffeehouse music….. I love this stuff. A singer and a guitar.
  3. When you stop going to your high school reunions because all of these old people come up to you and ask, “Do you remember me?”
  4. Very, very nice! Not all guitars are created equal.
  5. Vintage guitar means old guitar(and all the potential problems that come with it. I’ve never heard a guitar (old or new) that was vastly better sounding than other guitars I’ve owned/own. If you like a guitar and it represents who you are as a person, the terms “vintage” and “new” don’t mean much. If you like it, you like it. If you don’t like it, find another guitar.
  6. Just so my guitars don’t start coming-apart,I don’t really give a crap.
  7. We were home before11pm. Watched Bones onTV and was watching The Twilight Zone Marathon around 4am. Have a great 2023!
  8. Yeah,I had something hanging-on for the last week. I don’t feel bad, but I don’t feel my best. It’s slowly leaving.
  9. No alcohol forNew Years. My son was having a big party, so we went over there for a while, along with the rest of the family. My wife and I headed home before the streets got too dangerous. At midnight, we were watching reruns of Bones. Then, today we went shopping.
  10. RIP, Mr. Tyson! In the midst of Rock n Roll, you carved-out your own place. You were then and will remain one of my all-time favorite songwriter/performers. And in addition to all of your talent, you were a really decent human being.
  11. I don’t even have a favorite band anymore. It seems like so much of what I once enjoyed, took for granted, and made part of my life is now jaded and I automatically shun it.
  12. Cowboy guitars and rough strings…….https://youtu.be/gGQOtV_yGL4
  13. If my recordings sounded ANYTHING even remotely like that, it would mean that I knew what I was doing.
  14. Johnny Cash played two J200s. I like to see Gibson do them again.
  15. I use Lemon Oil if I think of it (every 3-4 years…maybe). Rest of the time I use grease off of my fingers, drops of coffee, occasionally a bit of drool, and crumbs from donuts and Chocolate chip cookies, and in the summertime I add some sweat.
  16. Roger, if we’re not having fun, we won’t enjoy it. Music is a blast! Let’s keep it going.
  17. I am impressed! With my froggy voice, I don’t even try singing an Orbison song to myself..__let alone this iconic song. Sweet job, my friend.
  18. Good rendition of a sweet tune. You remind me of Rodney Crowell and that ain’t bad.
  19. Real, real, nice, Lars! A very personal song. Presents a strong image of someone who is a missed and lost soul. To me, your lyrics are very strong.
  20. Have no idea of what it potentially means for the guitar, but looks kind of cool. On my pickguards with a design, I put a light coating of clear gloss finish on them. Been doing it for years and it works well.
  21. Did you say purple lights?…..There’s only one explanation.
