  1. I feel ya. My Yellow Lab is my oldest of my 5 dogs right now and he's 11 1/2. Yeah, 18 is a very long time! Had a great long life with my brother. Speaking of that age, I once ran into a lady with a beautiful Rottweiler pup a few years back and over heard her talking about Chihuahuas with someone and heard her say she knew someone who had a Chihuahua that was 22 and I interrupted and said, "Are you serious? Wow!" and she said, "Yeah! That breed came live up to 25 years if taken care of properly." and I was like, "Wow!". I think the lady with the Rottweiler pup said she used to breed Chihuahuas if I remember right.
  2. Very true! Shame they don't live as long as we do.
  3. Another picture of Zeus.
  4. For real, man! My brother gave him a fantastic life. I have had dogs that have passed and I still grieve and miss them. Especially my first Newfoundland, Zeus, who was with me from the age of 10 until a couple months before I turned 23. He passed in January of 2015. I have even had a couple of crazy, unexplainable dreams about him after he passed that I woke up from both times with tears in my eyes. Here is a picture of him a few months before he passed with my oldest Boston Terrier, George, when he was a puppy. Zeus was that gentle.
  5. Because Ace Frehley is my all time favorite guitarist and KISS is my all time favorite band. The reason I started playing guitar a 8 years old.
  6. It's sad they don't live as long as we do. But, at least he lived to be 18 and had a great life with my brother.
  7. My older brother's Chinese Crested passed away today at 18 - yes, 18. He was such an awesome little dog. R.I.P Harold AKA Harry! https://i.imgur.com/ZaF8QKK.jpg
  8. It's a 2003 M.I.M Fender Telecaster in sage green. Always been a fan of this color. Found this locally. Guy rarely played it. He got it second hand in '04. Apparently the guy he got it from put different pickups in it, but couldn't remember what they were. The neck pickup, however is microphonic as crap on the drive/distortion side. Bride p/u, not really. Thought about putting something different in there. The playability and feel is great on it! I dig it. May tinker with it to get it to how I like. https://i.imgur.com/5rona3R.jpg
  9. I need to get pics of everything and make a post. Hard to post individually. Mainly my guitars and amps. Probably take a good while to get all of my pedals together for a picture, haha. Sweet, man! Is far as basses go, I just have 3 at the moment. Two Fender Jazz Basses - a USA Highway 1 and a M.I.M - and a M.I.M Precision bass. Speaking of Warmoth, I had a Warmoth a long time ago, but got rid of it like an idiot. Young and stupid. I got it second hand. Beautiful guitar and played and sounded great. Wish I still had it.
  10. Around 50 or up. I need to make a good count, haha.
  11. Oh, yeah! I have seen some of your builds on here in the past. Forgot about that.
  12. Thanks! You should check them out, if you haven't heard of them. I mean, yeah, you'd have to do the work yourself or have a luthier/tech do it, unless you find one used/prebuilt. This one plays, feels, and sounds fantastic! Here's the site: Precision Guitar Kits – Make Your Own Guitar Statement
  13. Just tried that and it just showed the link to get to them highlight. Tried going back to where I had it and nothing. Don't know what the deal is. Never had a problem with that before. I always click on the code for message boards and forums and it shows the pics fine. Unless something has changed on imgur. Kind of think it's my computer because I had to do something to it to get to this horror movie forum I'm a part of and it has been out of whack tonight. Ugh, haha! Oh, well. 😜
  14. Ughh! Please let me know if these pics come through! My computer has decided to be a jerk tonight!
  15. Got this guitar around 3 weeks - a month ago. It's a Precision guitar Kits Les Paul Junior kit some guy locally put together and listed for sell. Been playing on it since and it's a really great guitar! Specs on it left by the guy who made it and whom I bought it from: Precision Guitar Kits mahogany '54 Singlecut Jr. with a '59 Jr. neck, MojoTone Quiet Coil '59 P90 pickup, Tone Man pots, paper in oil cap .022uf, cloth wiring, MotorCity bridge, Tone Pros locking steel bridge posts, Graph Tech Nut, Kluson traditional 3 per side plate tuners, metal, jack plate, Switch Craft jack, and aluminum knobs. This guitar does play and sound great! Here's a pic: https://i.imgur.com/OnFtbsY.jpg As far as the pedal goes, it's a Supro boost pedal. I really like it. Does what a boost should, but also has a 3 position toggle to where you can go from bright to dark. https://i.imgur.com/c5Yb86g.jpg And the tuners are Gotoh SD91 locking vintage style tuners. I plan on putting these on my gold 2004 50th Anniversary Fender Stratocaster. https://i.imgur.com/3ZOqt9b.jpg
  16. This looks like it, but I don't recall his having the weird locking tremolo. I don't think he played that guitar much at all, because I only seen it once or twice and that was the one guitar he was picky about letting me play then. He would let me play his Gibson Les Paul all day long back then, though, haha. Been curious about the model of that Epiphone since I was 11 or 12.
  17. Surprised I haven't posted these on here, yet, but I got a couple of new toys a month ago. One is the new electric blue Epiphone Tommy Thayer signature Les Paul. I fell in love with it when it was first released. Has two Duncan JB pickups. Though it is electric blue, the finish does react to the lighting. In certain angles it can look blue and certain angles it can look purple if that makes sense. The 2nd is a cracked mirror Paul Stanley signature Silvertone. I've always wanted a cracked mirror Paul Stanley model, but his old Washburn and old and new Ibanez cracked mirror models are fetching a pretty penny, so I thought about finding one of his Silvertone models and found this one on Reverb. I guess you can see I am a huge KISS fan.
  18. Been awhile since I have posted. Hope everyone is doing ok and staying safe. Anyway, I got a couple of new heads I want to share. One is a Krank Chadwick - the Series 2 two channel one. Now, I remember seeing Krank all over Guitar World and such way back in the day and I've always been curious about one. Never seen one in my area and always wanted to check a Krank out. So, I found this Chadwick on Guitar Center's site and pulled the trigger. I am liking it. It's 50 watts and these were labeled as "hot rodded British amps". Also has some cool features/controls on it, too. I have it on top of my Hughes & Kettner Warp 7 cabinet Now the other head I got is a Paul Reed Smith MT15 Mark Tremonti 15 watt signature amp. I've been curious about PRS amps for awhile and curious about this head since it came out and, man. This little guy is an absolute beast! This thing sounds a lot louder than 15 watts. Though not pictured, I got it on top of my 2x12 Soldano cab.
  19. So, picked up another guitar off of Reverb that I've been wanting since I was a kid. This one is a 1978 Peavey T60. Ever since I first seen blues guitarist Johnny Copeland playing one when I was a kid, I was like, "What is that?! That looks sweet!" and discovered it was this model and wanted one ever since. Years later, I finally got one, haha.
  20. Hey, been awhile since I posted on here. Hope everyone here is doing well! Anyway, I wanted to share a new guitar I got. It's a 2004 Parker P42. I've had my eye on a Parker for years. I remember first seeing one at a local music store when I was 11 or 12 and really liked it and wanted it, but by the time my dad went to get it for me the original owner came back and picked it up and had 2nd thoughts about selling it. Fast forward many years later, I found this one on Reverb and liked it, so I goy it. This one doesn't have the piezo on it, though. Just your standard 3 way and a push/pull coil split. Literally just came in, so I'm going to tune it up, test it out, and put new strings on it. Will come back with a report.
  21. Same! I have always loved gold tops and gold guitars. I have this gold top Les Paul, a gold Fender 50th anniversary Stratocaster, and a gold ESP Vintage Plus. Maybe I need to add a gold Tele to the mix, haha. But, yeah, I have a couple of buddies who aren't fans of gold tops or gold guitars in general and I'm like, "How can you not be?", haha.
