Need help. Real or Fake? *Warning - 14 Pictures*

My only comments would be that the top doesn't look quite right. There should be more of a flat area around the perimeter of the body before the archtop starts. It might just be reflections, but this body looks very rounded on all the edges with little or no flat area at all. The bridge looks to be very straight compared to the tailpeice. -
If I didn't know that was a Camaro, I'd swear that's what he took the logo from.

One photo is not much to go on for that starting price. -
Those might be treble bleed caps on the volume pots. Does the treble roll off as you decrease the volume?

The Turner is a solid hunk of mahogany except for the hole the humbucker is mounted in. No chambers.

Alpha makes a good pot. Long-wearing and a decent quality.

Better than you might think. :-

smart *** - 1 a : Someone who is sacastic, in a cutting yet witty manner. A person capable of making a remark that could be interpreted as a insult or a joke depending on the sensitivity of the listener and the specific situation. A smart *** is not necessarily a bad person just usually perceptive. ( For terms to refer to an offensive, cruel and asinine person see Jerk, Asshole , idiot, fool etc.) 2 : a person who makes sure every word they type is spelled or used correctly so they can diss other members online for grammar, spelling and other mistakes.

Cavernman, didn't you say this was the system installed in the Turner's?

I picked up a new Dean Vendetta about five years ago for $90 from Ed Roman. Their shop set it up and it plays great. The neck pickup sounds pretty crappy, but the bridge isn't bad. Either way, both could be changed and this would be a great guitar for the money.

Congratulations on the new LP. I like camo, but just on my clothing. Nice guitar though. I'd like a set of those knobs for my Custom.

The new Les Pauls - wow, times have changed!

They could be had. I buy a lot of electronic components from Mouser Electronics in Texas. There's not much they don't have, and most connector components are standardized based on pin spacing and diameter of the pins.
