  1. I sent an e-mail to Gibson's Customer Service, and here is their reply to my question: Hi, Thanks for the email. This model had Kluson style tuners with metal buttons. The hole diameter is 11/32” and the ratio is 15:1. Thanks again. So there I have it, I need 11/32'' tuning pegs if I don't wanna drill my guitar's pegholes. Thanks to all of you who spent time in order to solve my inconvenient. E
  2. I just unscrewed one peg and measured (remember we have millimeters down here in Argentina) the diameter of the peghole, its almost (if not) exactly 8mm. 8 mm are about 0.31496063 inches The thing is... I don't understand that language, such as Hole size: 25/64" 3/8" etc. Would someone "translate" this for me please? Or just tell me which Grover tuning pegs/machine heads I need so as not to change my 0.31496063 peghole. Thanks a lot
  3. Thanx man I just checked it out, and I can say almost for shure that my tuning pegs are a 14:1 The thing is... If I buy the "3+3 rotomatic self-locking tuning pegs 18:1" by Grover... Will I be able to install them withouth making any modification to the guitar? Cause I don't wanna screw anything up, or make a bigger hole or that kind of things some guys do... My big fear, on the other hand, is to buy them and realise they are useless for my guitar... here's the "ebay" (what in my country would be ebay) link: grover rotomatic 3+3 on sale at my country's "ebay" Thanx a lot, E
  4. HI THERE I own a 2001 Epiphone Supernova (Man. City Blue), and I would like to change it's machine heads/tuning pegs. I was thinking of some self-locking rotomatic chrome Grover tuners, but I don't want to mess up the holes on the guitar, so I tried to find what pegs suited my guitar best. All I found was that the Grover tuners I want to buy are 18:1 (no idea what that means). Simultaneously, I've unsuccesfully been trying to find on the Internet whether my epiphone came originally with 18:1 tuners straight from the factory, but I couldn't find it. I was wishing if you could give me a hand here, and tell me whether my epiphone supernova comes with 18:1 tuning pegs, and if those rotomatic grover tuners are suitable (and if they are a good choice) for my Supernova electric guitar. Sooo.... Did the Epiphone supernova came from Korea brand new with 18:1 tuners????? Regards from Argentina, "E"
