  1. Two white T-310s have popped up on Evilbay recently. I lost one by 2GBP & 2 secs! It went for 112GBPm the other is on Evilbay.com and is currently about 325GBP. A little bit peeved off that I missed the UK one but there are more guitars out there with my name on them!
  2. Just like buses, you wait for one to come and it doesn't, the next time there is a fleet of them! More E by Gs appearing in UK Evil Bay and reasonably priced too. Check out how much was replaced on the Spanish one.
  3. StevieD, One thing I noticed about your selector switch is that it has been changed out at some time in it's history if you compare it with the earlier models in this thread. Looks like it has been there forever by the way! The pitting on the stop bar looks to have gone below the nickel but can be polished out to give a nickel finish if desired. If you take a look at the leading photograph on page 8 with the dimensions for the bridge you can see how bad mine was before I started on it. The body on yours looks a hell of a lot better than that on mine for the same age, some people have no respect at all for works of art! Currently located in Ireland but only temporary!
  4. While searching for parts I found this E by G - any takers? http://www.giantpygmy.net/stuff/guitar/guitar_for_sale_gibson_epiphone.html This is what I would call a good advert, nothing left out in the details.
  5. The scratch plate is not the original as there was not one on the guitar when I bought it, there were no knobs either. What you see is the basic replacements at the time, hopefully the next photograph will be it in recovery to rude health. I will be looking out for an original scratch plate so if anyone is aware of a correctly dated one up for sale, please let me know. There are a couple on UK Evil Bay but not in good condition - 2 for $30 at the moment.
  6. Here is another 1980s E-B-G from Evil Bay UK. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1980s-Epiphone-Sheraton_W0QQitemZ130376634550QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV?hash=item1e5b0d90b6
  7. Well after a lot of searching and strife from the 'boss', I eventually found the piece of paper with a copy of the serial number for 'Dusty'. 71108446 Checking a couple of sites gives this rather inaccurate dating of the guitar. This from Guitar Dater - Guitar Info Your guitar was made in Korea October c.1971 Production Number: 8446 If this is at all correct then there is something wrong with the serial number!
  8. As you can see from this view the PU ring at the neck sits low in relation to the tail of the fretboard giving the thicker end towards the bridge PU which has the skinny PU ring as company. Here are a few of the PU cavities on 'Dusty'! Thanks for the idea, Joseph!
