  1. What??? The chances of that vary according to outside influences? Oh, great......NOW you tell me.......
  2. That's one sweet guitar! I've never seen one with the body shaping like that.
  3. By "dips forward", do you mean when you let go it tries to point towards the floor? That's something that happens to guitars when the neck outweighs the body, in relation to the balance points of the strap buttons. A wider strap might take some of the issue away, by giving more contact area to your shoulder.
  4. An investment like a new guitar is more than the price of the guitar. It's also an investment in time, to check out basic things one can do to maintain the instrument and keep it in an enjoyable, playable state. Tuning, basic setup tricks, care of the finish......all are part of ownership. (To me, anyway......)
  5. Ah, finally...another guitar with the pupcovers like my Explorer! It's a cool guitar, by the way! :)
  6. Check this page of the forum out for pic posting info: http://forums.epiphone.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=8886
  7. I got lucky with my Epi LP, they threw in a "chainsaw" case with it. There's one on eBay now: http://cgi.ebay.com/Gibson-Vintage-Chainsaw-Protector-Case-Les-Paul-SG-Fine_W0QQitemZ170467216375QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar_Accessories?hash=item27b0a34bf7 Here's some pix of it:
  8. Awesome Collection! I agree about Epis. Would rather have the ones I have than their Gibson counterparts, just because........Epis ROCK!
  9. Checked with the email address on the site, got an answer back. One of the 3 inventors is still in Roswell, so I'm going to call him and see what he thinks about the Ferrington application.
  10. Cool......I'm going to try to get in touch with them about the possibility of it working with my Ferrington. Plus, later this year I'm going to be going to Roswell (so I'm told by my other half......) while on this thing she calls "vacation". Appreciate the input!
