  1. Thanks a lot! You've really been very helpful!!! What do you think I should do? Does it seem a little too big for my guitar, or isn't it a problem? (Also, you were measuring the inside dimensions, right? Just checking! ) Is there also an 940-EL0CS case-user to help me by providing his dimensions?
  2. Here are the dimensions of my guitar! Do you think it fits??? If a dimension is missing tell me so, but i think i covered everythink! :P
  3. yes, of course, and thanks for the reply! what guitar do you have?
  4. A little more help in here please..? I could really use it... Is it actually logical EF 500RCCE to have the same case with EL-00 instead of having the case of another EF model? And does anyone know if EMBADCS that i found from an e-shop at my country fits? I found out that it was the official case for all AJ and DR Masterbilt models, except of the EF models that had the EMBENCS case. But this year's catalogue have all (every single one of them) masterbilt models with the same case(EDREAD), except the EF 500 RCCE(EL0CS)!!!!! How could then (2007) have all the same dimensions and this year EF 500RCCE has the EL-00's size??? I just have to be sure and not buy a case I don't need... Every help is deeply appreciated...
  5. I don't know my friend, but isn't it also strange that pa4theking actually bought it and said it to be wrong? And also only registered to this forum just that he could find a solution to his not-fitting-case-problem? Also, please check that the EL0CS is also supposed to fit to the EL-00 guitar. Do you think it's reasonable EF500RCCE ( http://www.epiphone.com/Products/Masterbilt/Masterbilt-EF-500RCCE.aspx ) to fit the same as EL-00( http://www.epiphone.com/Products/Acoustic/EL-00.aspx )? EL-00 is smaller! Shouldn't it fit the same way as, for example, EF500RA ( http://www.epiphone.com/Products/Masterbilt/Masterbilt-EF-500RA.aspx ) which fits 940-EDREAD? Could it be possible they made a mistake?
  6. I thought this was the one too, but take a look at this post http://forum.gibson.com/index.php?/topic/69474-masterbilt-case/ I really like the EL0CS case but i'm afraid that it would not be the one, pa4theking bought it and said it was not good... Any ideas? Also, besides EL0CS, the case mentioned above, EMBADCS, would it be good for my guitar?
  7. Hi! I finally found a site that sells the epiphone masterbilt hard/soft case! The thing is that I don't know if there are many of them! The case i found is "EMBADCS" (http://www.sweetwater.com/images/closeup/xl/1600-EMBADCS_outside.jpg), but in the epiphone catalog (http://www.rudymusic.be/pdf/general/rudy_music_catalogue_general_2011_epiphone.pdf ) (which listed every epi with it's appropriate case) the case for my epi (EF 500 RCCE Masterbilt ) should be "EMBENCS". I can't even find pictures of this EMBENCS case on the internet! Does it really matter? I mean, this should be a case for masterbilts, right? Will it fit? Please help me! It's been more than a year that I've been searching for an epi case for my guitar and I don't want to miss this chance!!!
  8. Did you finally solved your problem? I had (have actually) the same problem, but did not find my answer yet... I'd really like to have an epiphone-brand case for this guitar but nobody seem to know if any fits ef 500rcce...
  9. That's what I'm going to do too!!! :P thanks for the help!
  10. Thanks for the replies! From what I got so far I probably choose the 50's, It kinda feels that way... Their versatility, and the lack of "noise" (that P90s supposed to have) is probably what will please me the most, even if somehow I feel none of the two will be a "bad" choice... I'd also like to ask you, I read somewhere that 60s tribute is supposed to be limited edition (only produced during 2011)... Is that true? Does the same thing apply for the 50 tributes as well? Cause I'd be very tempted to own a limited gibson... :P
  11. I know they are pretty different and unfortunately it's pretty impossible to try them myself, cause none of the music stores i've been to in greece has Gibsons... Don't realy know the reason, I guess it's about their high price or something, but that's a huge disadvantage for me... So all I really can do is listen to videos and hear people's opinions! :-) I really can't decide from their appearence, cause I think they're both equally beautifull...
  12. Hi everyone! I decided to by myself a LP, and I'm between these two: Les Paul Studio '50s Tribute Humbucker ( http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Les-Paul/Gibson-USA/Les-Paul-Studio-50s-Tribute-Humbucker.aspx ) Les Paul Studio '60s Tribute ( http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Les-Paul/Gibson-USA/Les-Paul-Studio-60s-Tribute.aspx ) I searched a little, and I think (from what i found out, if no correct me) that their major difference is the P90s (60s tribute) VS the Humbuckers (50s tribute). Their price is about the same, so that's not a problem... I really don't know what to do since this will be my first LP and I don't have that much experience, so every help is appreciated! :D
  13. Thanks for the reply anyways! Anyone else knows anything about the EMBEFCS case or another that fits my EF 500 RCCE? I desperately want a case for this, and I'd much rather prefer it to be an Epiphone one... About that, I also downloaded epiphone's 2006 official catalogue, and there about my guitar it says that a EMBENCS case is supposed to be my guitar's original manifacturer's case, but i can't find this anywhere either... at least the EMBEFCS was at some point available at Sweetwater, about a year ago... Anyone please help me??? Any EF 500RCCE users maybe???
  14. Hi guys, I'm looking for it everywhere and I really can't find an answer, so I could really use your help.. I got an Epi ef-500 RCCE Masterbilt, and I desperately want a case for it... I had decided a while ago to buy an EMBEFCS case (http://www.sweetwater.com/images/items/1800/EMBEFCS-xlarge.jpg) but didn't had the money for it then. But now that I do, I can't find it anywhere!!! Neither sweetwater, nor a bunch of other sites seem to provide it anymore! All say that is not available... Please help! Is Epi not producing this case anymore? Is there another Epi case for my guitar? Thanks in advance...
  15. Yeah, this must be good, but it's not a hard case :( I guess if i don't find one i'm gonna take this one eventually, i'd just like the hard case better... Between these two http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/EMBEFCS/ and http://www.thomann.de/gr/epiphone_case_dreadnoughtadv_jumbo.htm i like the hard better. Just waiting if anyone knows if that fits, otehrwise i'm going for the soft one. Thanks a lot though geelinus, i didn't know there was a case especially for ef masterbilts!
  16. Yeah, the size is the same so it must be right, but the electronics should be a problem, it sticks out, it should need some minimum space for it... It really pisses me off though, you buy one of the best-most expensive electro/acoustic guitars epiphone has made and they don't even bother to make a case for it! Has anybody else another suggestion? please help, i really want a case and i really don't know what to do... Aren't there any ef 500rcce owners to help me? (or other electro/acoustic owners, i guess it's a problem for them too...)
  17. thanks Pete.R So, should i go for the other one? Are there any EF 500RCCE owners to let me know which case do they use, or if this case ( http://www.thomann.de/gr/epiphone_case_dreadnoughtadv_jumbo.htm ) if a fit for my guitar?
  18. Hi everybody! It's been a month since i bought my new epi masterbilt EF 500RCCE(from thomann.de), and since then i've been looking for a (hard) case for it. Unfortunately i can't find one for exactly this model, all i found there, are these two: http://www.thomann.de/gr/epiphone_case_dreadnoughtadv_jumbo.htm and http://www.thomann.de/gr/epiphone_el0cs_case_el00.htm , but I'm not sure if they are good fits for my guitar... What do you think i should do? thanks in advance...
