Hello from a newbie. I recently bought a used Epiphone Dot for my son, who is taking jazz guitar lessons. Everything on the guitar is working pretty well, but the previous owner took off the pickguard and couldn't find the bracket. My son would like the pickguard on, and I'm trying to figure out what to use for the hardware. Does anyone know if a Les Paul-type bracket will work for this? The current pickguard has a hole for a bolt to connect to the bracket, which is like an LP as opposed to a 335 glue-on bracket.
