  1. Hello guys, I just bought a Gibson 1992 Les Paul Gold Top reissue 1960, the original owner broke the neck and fixed it but repainted the whole body on GOLD which I didn't really like, I sanded it and found some white spots on the wood, what can I do to get a nice and shiny colour out of them? The white spots are the little ones on the center of the body, i haven't finished it yet as you can see some of the tape around the black covers...
  2. Hello everyone, i'm getting closer to a final veredict on getting this guitar or not. I have posted a couple of different picture...I think you guys will have more information with this snaps. THANKS EVERYONE HERE!
  3. Hi, if you need help spotting a fake then yes I can help you...I've seen my decent share of fakes...Shoot me a PM and some pics and I'd be glad to help on your goldtop in question...

  4. Here is one more picture of the goldtop, now Im not sure if the seller knows the real year the guitar was made.
  5. It is supposed to be 2002, but 1.- There is no MADE IN USA on the back of the neck, the whole body is painted in gold (i could accept that if I'm buying a read Gibson Les Paul Classic), I posted a few pictures I wish you could check out for me...thanks a lot!

  6. jsgarry,

I'm afraid I don't have much experience selling Goldtops. What year is it, though?

  8. Hi there and welcome.

I know a bit about them.

What is it you'd like to know? I'd be happy to help in any way I can.

I suspect you'd get an awful lot of info if you simply posted a request for info in the Les Paul section, though.

    Regards.

  9. Thank you very much, I will be expecting some more feedback on this topic.
  10. That's why I need some expert advice, the seller told me that all the 60's reissues are supposed to be like that. I'm also worried about having the whole body painted in gold...
  11. Are the goldtops all painted in gold? or is it just the top as named? Cause this one seems to be all gold...
  12. look, this is the back of the neck. Is it normal to have the serial number printed like this? I guess this neck was painted for repairing issues.
  13. Hello everyone, I'm just about to buy a used Goldtop 2002 Classic used les paul, but I need some feedback on spoting a fake one.
