Hello everyone. I'm looking for some info to set up my sg.....how high does the bridge news to be? I can't find that info anywhere. How high do o put the two nuts below the bridge. Braided that what should I so?? Hope to get some good info.
  3. Hey there man...long time no talk. I got a question for ya. My epiphone sg brigde height..what should it be.??? Like how do I set it up to sound the best? I figured you would be the guy to ask.

  4. Hello everyone I have a 1966 epiphone sg. I was wondering if putting the Angus pickup in would make a noticeable differance. Also I'm looking foot a new amp...I have a vox vt15. I'm looking to spend up to about three hundred on the new amp. I only really play acdc and so other hard classic rock. Whats everyone think???
  5. hey there everyone.... i was looking at the epiphone 1966 g400. then i thought id looked at the SG specials. i think im going to get alot more vlue for just $300 bucks. i was looking at the SG special and the sg special Faded. from what i was reading everything is the same. except the finish? am i correct? i own a epiphone g400 faded now. im looking to get away from the brown wood look. lol i think the faded cherry is enough. just wont to make sure im not scrwing myself over. i also figured i could get crome covers for the humbuckers correct? wondering what everyone thinks is the paint worth the $300. it wont play different with paint i dont think...rigth? hope to hear some good feed back have a good day everyone.. -Shaine-

  7. i had everything you guys said running through my head too. i just cant decide. lol i mean i deff get what your saying about getting the 66' its just to look like a real SG from gibson. i mean either way im going to get the pickups i said before...but its hard to justify 1100 hundred bucks. i mean im going to be playing with my friends and its just a hobby. just not sure hope to hear some more feedback thanks guys -Shaine-
  8. hey there everyone... i now own a Faded Epi G400 and love it. im going to be buying a new guitar soon. i was looking at the 1966 Epi G400 and a Gibson SG Standard. either way im going to put angus young signiture humbucker and a 57' humbucker into them. i only play at home for a hobbie. is it worth spending the extra 800 on just the guitar? im playing through a vox VT20+. i would love a gibson but just cant see the 800 dollar differents in the guitar shop. hope to hear back soon.

  15. im going to drop the angus young pickup and a '57 humbucker in the neck. thats should help with the pickup issues iv been hearing out i hope. i have a epi faded g400 and it doesnt feel anywhere as good to me as the 66'. the feel is awesome. im sure it has something to do with the slimmer neck.
