No I don't think it real real one. You made comment that you bought it was reissue. The only other advice I can give is to contact Gibson Customer Service service@gibson.com http://forums.gibson.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=1772 http://forums.gibson.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=274 They can give the year it was manufacture.
