  1. I think there was a Japanese Co. named Ventura that also had some lawsuit models.
  2. I've seen both of those and own "Heartworn Highway". These films just meszmerize me! Good stuff. Guy mostly plays Martins now or one of his handbuilts patterned after his Martin 000-28VS.
  3. drathbun-I only mentioned "Alberta Maple Syrup" because a nice young lady from Alberta once sent me a bottle of genuing maple syrup from Canada and I almost inhaled it. Good stuff, Maynard!! Wherever it comes from, I need some!!
  4. Ballcorner's right. Ibuprofen (Advil) 800 mg. every 6 hours until the swelling goes down. Ice for 15 to 20 minutes at a time and keep your wrist elevated (above your heart) as much as possible. When the swelling goes down, use heat instead of the ice. Don't wrap it too tightly while it's swollen, it will increase swelling. The Pharmacy should have a nice wrist brace you can use while healing. A friend in Kent, UK, tells me this is a common injury there and you should expect a full recovery. Did you fall on your wrist? If so, you could have a broken or cracked bone in there. The wrist is full of small carpal bones. Is it black and blue (hematoma) ? Don't hesitate to see a Dr. if it isn't feeling better in a few days. (I'm charging this to your insurance. I accept Genuine Alberta Maple Syrup!) lol TWilson 27th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital Chu Lai
  5. If I get to take one to a dessert island I think I'll just ask Arlo if I can take this! Here's a little bling for ya' !!
  6. I just got a used copy of "Fabulous Flattops" on ebay for $30. It's in great shape but isn't the newest copyright. I was a bit surprised not to find any mention of the SJ-150. Are they that new?
  7. Greg, thanks to you, I am now able to spell "Physicist." lol
  8. I put the one that Uncle Buck mentions from Terrapin on my J-45. It's 0.060, nicely beveled and is remeniscent of the early 50's pickguards they use. I think it looks great. Terrapin is in Eugene, Oregon, 40 miles down the road from where I live. Call the guy and talk to him, he's a good guy and informative. Oh, yeah, I opted for the tortoise.
