  1. Any idea how many guitars are out the door there each day?
  2. I sold one of those about 5 years ago. A clean example. Then 4500.
  3. Im in Calgary. Its very smoky here .
  4. L00. 14 fret. On the neck block inside should be a few numbers.
  5. Could it be a Disgruntle airline employee?
  6. Try a cut up apple for absorbing the scent of cig smoke.
  7. Well Im sure Gibson will have a Great future with the New CEO in charge. Cool video Nice seeing a actual Guitar guy explaining the comparisons. Of Old to New.
  8. Well. There could be a 100 limited edition models made
  9. I have a couple just like this. Housing Harmony in each .
  10. New Martin cases up here are 800.00 with a little oval brass martin plaque .
  11. Im not one for casting blame. Just saying Gibson Lifetime warranty has never been clarified as to what it pertains to. A neck bow? Or a heel block coming loose . There will be always a cast of doubt blaming it on the owner not looking after the item. us as Gibson forum people live all over the world , and in different climates. It would best to discuss the ordeal with the dealer And see if they can help you out
  12. Any solid wood guitar has to be looked after. Gibson only covers faulty workmanship . Not neglect. Finish cracks, wood cracks , sinkage is mostly due to not enough humidity. any guitar that gets to much humidity will swell. Parts will pull away. Its on the owner to look after there musical instruments.
  13. How many times has Gibson gone Bankrupt? They just about sunk the ship again not long ago. Lifetime really means nothing .
  14. Les paul custom. Not all Customs had 3 pickups. I owned a 1960 with two.
  15. Just dont pluck on the g string. And your sleep should be fine.
  16. Im guessing , if there are no separate strips to reinforce the sides. If you bang the guitar on its side. The padding on the inside will absorb the blow . if you look inside the New J45s there is nothing. I have a 2022 and theres nothing. If it splits the whole rim would let go. I never knew about random employees signing tops. Thats a first. I have a few Custom shop 1994 guitars. Those are signed by the custom shop crew inside the top.
  17. I have a 2022 with the light brown case pink lining and square style latches. I had one just like the OP posted as well the case is original for that year. As for the price of 2100 cdn. Kind of cheap. Considering they sell new up here for 3600 plus cdn new
  18. I actually bought a Mossman Great plains to see what was offered when Gibson and Martin were not at there full potential.
  19. Send it to a dealer. Chances are you may have done something you shouldnt have
  20. Taylors are Nice guitars. Congrats But I would be keeping the Gibson. You might miss it.
  21. In 47 Some L48s had trapezoid inlays and a script logo. I have one. In 48 they went to dot inlay and a print logo Some where in time frame going into the 50s the f holes were a tad larger. Yours are like the L50 style
  22. I would talk to the dealer and see if they can guide you in a good direction . Gibson has a policy not to back guitar cracks for the reasons of neglect. Not saying yours is that way. Just in general.
  23. Where are you located? Lifetime warranties only apply in the USA Any only applies to the original purchaser of the Gibson from a Gibson Retailer. Canada is only a year. Via Yorkville . so hopefully your in the US and the Original owner. and if its a Top crack. I wish you luck .
  24. I have ones just like those.
