No wires. The jack wire goes to the main control. Another feeds to the saddle. Im wondering if its for feedback. its just 4 feet glued to the back. No damage anywhere. Its odd While poking around in there I did notice a J180 stamp with a date on the bridge plate.

The first picture looks correct. The second picture has no relevance, put a saddle in the bridge. Then take a straight edge from the top of the nut to the top of the saddle. That should give you a height has for the top. There not really flat when you tension the strings.

Its pretty much a sales tactic. Back a few years ago up here. Just about every J45, es335s had custom shop decals on the back of the peg head. Really nothing custom shop about those. But they sure sold alot

What year are you referring to? What model of guitar? Acoustic or electric? Gibson could add a pearl dot on a guitar and call it a custom shop. I personally think when you special order a Guitar with certain additional 1 off items on it And it takes two years to receive That reserves the spot for a True Custom shop. But nowadays. Gibson will sticker 100 guitars of the same with the words Custom shop. And theres nothing custom involved except a marketing tactic .

Take it to your guitar store. And ask the question. Its like giving a estimate over the phone here. It does not work.
