  1. OK. I have no evidence either way. It just seems that the whole situation could have easily been avoided by either party. The Chinese group could have just moved away from the area around the piano, and the person with the camera could have just obliged and pointed the camera away from the group.
  2. You know, after looking at this more I have a suspicion it might have been staged. Just seems a little fishy.
  3. Thanks for posting that, comrade. 😎
  4. I guess the good thing is that customers can scratch that $7500 guitar and no one would know. The sticky neck must me the nitro. I remember my LP Studio took almost a year for that to totally go away.
  5. I saw this an an email from Gibson. I immediately thought, whoever buys these will just keep them in the display case as collectors items. It's like the potential of how good they might be, is more valuable than the certainty of actually installing them and finding out.
  6. Things are looking up. Baltimore counted fewer than 300 murders in 2023. First time since like 2004.
  7. I've had a bottle of Old English for almost 20 years. Use it sparingly on my rosewood fretboards about twice a year. So far my inlays are fine. I was at one of those home stores awhile ago and saw some stuff called Parker and Bailey on clearance, so I bought it. I used it when I strung up the banjo last week and it did well.
  8. I'll agree that Blanton's is overpriced and hard to find. But it's still pretty good. If you find yourself in possession of another bottle, I'll be happy to take it off your hands. 😎
  9. Does anyone actually use these? I thought I spent too much on a used Monster cable years ago. I can't imagine I'd notice a $400 difference with a Lava, even if it is a Van der Hul. πŸ˜• https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/LCHL20--lava-cable-van-den-hul-instrument-cable-20-foot-straight-straight
  10. I know the critics didn't like it, I prefer Shark Sandwich.
  11. If you mean the banjo, it's a Samick. I'm not sure if it's nice or not. Seems pretty good. Has a pretty eagle on the back side. This is the only old photo I could find. I know it's old because we haven't had those red eared sliders in years.
  12. Your post inspired my to string that evil thing up. It was one of the most frustrating things I've done in awhile. Now I remember why is sat for so long.
  13. Besides the PRS that my wife let me buy as my own Christmas/Birthday/Anniversary gift, my son gave me a Mini Kalimbra. I can already play Ode To Joy and London Bridge Is Falling Down. 😎
  14. I survived another year. Here's wishing everyone a good 2024.
  15. Imagine when his hands get a little bigger and those jazz stretches get easier for him.
  16. Played our last gig of 2023 tonight. New Years Eve Eve. Great night that ended in a two-man Free Bird jam. 😎 See ya next year.
  17. Did you hear about the hungry clock? It went back for seconds.
  18. I loved my 2004 Studio Plus before the headstock was broken. It has a nice 50s neck and the 490R/498T pickups are great. I still want to get around to having the headstock repaired.
