  1. There's a name you don't see every day...
  2. You're a gifted wood worker, Rabs. Make something else. Perhaps this is an opportunity.
  3. A 1967 Barracuda Formula S had dual points. Those were the days.
  4. There are certain members here who don't own Gibson guitars, don't really play guitar, and are not Gibson enthusiasts. The only reason they would join a Gibson forum is because they have no real life. They snivel and whine about every single thing the Company does. It's weird.
  5. Don't give these whiners something else to whine about. Waylon put leather on a guitar 50 years ago, about the same time Eddie was painting his with Schwinn bicycle paint and adding pin stripes.
  6. At least when the Silver Bridge fell, they blamed the Mothman....
  7. A man walks up to a sales clerk- "Excuse me, Where are your Polish Sausages?" The clerk asks "Are you Polish?" The man becomes irate and starts yelling "If I asked where the pasta was would you ask if I was Italian?", "no" replies the clerk. "If I asked where the corned beef was would you ask if I were Irish?" "no" replies the clerk. The man yells "why the heck did you ask if I am Polish???"....The clerk replies "Because this is a Home Depot"
  8. One of my favorite childhood memories is when my dad used to roll us down the hill inside of a tire. Those were the Goodyears!
  9. When one door closes, another one opens. Other than that, it's a great car.
  10. I once heard that more people have been killed with a .22 than any other caliber. So, there's that.
  11. That's the second dumbest statement I've ever seen. Successful people fail ALL THE TIME. The difference is, they don't QUIT.....
  12. The horns are much larger on the SG, whereas the Melody Maker and Brian May's guitar they are much smaller and out of the way. There's a good argument for double cuts.

I love everything about it. Remember that when you update your will.
  14. Looks like Brian May's guitar. Not many options for guitar shapes, it actually looks comfortable, not much different from my 62 Melody maker.
  15. Retired people don't buy stuff? That's ridiculous.
  16. Yea, I remember. Even your riots were "peaceful".....
  17. I used to wake up and not be able to remember anything, too. But it was self induced. Wishing the best.
  18. I agree. This doesn't happen often; we were really lucky to get 2 in such a short time around here.
  19. Don't be a party pooper, Pepper...
  20. I own 30 acres of woods, about a mile out (separate property) from my house. The last eclipse was before I retired so I was at work. My wife was off that day and went out to our property because she wanted to see/hear the wildlife reaction. She said it was eerie as heck, crickets started cricketing, and stuff. So that's what we're going to do, go into the woods, there is an area I mow by a small pond that's perfect for viewing the sky. If you have a 4x4 with pretty good ground clearance that you don't mind getting a few scratches, I can get you in. It's another hour and a half one way from Benton. And, you'll have to sign the SRF. "Squatch Release Form"...
  21. J-15 was Walnut and a pretty short run. The reputation is percolating now so when they re-introduce them, they'll be $2399.99.
  22. If you're confused, you've got it figured out.
  23. Rotating stock. Moving product. Walnut is good. Do it, Dennis. You know you want to....
