  1. Hello.. No it wont make any difference to the sound and we have had a thread about pickup spacing here... Hope that helps.
  2. Most SG players already know how to stop neck dive.. A wide leather strap which provides enough grip to stop the neck dive.. Much easier.....
  3. Yeah, as I say I wouldnt either but hey, you never know.. We will find out soon I guess.. Good luck Duane
  4. Agreed... I wouldnt.. But I did buy my 336 P90 online.. The seller had an ok rating its just I dont do that generally, it was my first and only purchase where I hadnt played it first... It was also a bargain at £2600 which is why I took the risk. As it goes I have found an issue recently with it but nothing I cant fix.. I dont know if it came that way from the factory but it has a worse cut nut on it than any Gibson I have ever owned even my comparatively cheap 60s Studio.
  5. That looks well dodgy to me.. No feedback at all.... Thats not a good sign...
  6. We had a thread about this a short while back
  7. Yeah, I have had a goooood old look.. Cant see any like that currently being made..
  8. AI didnt name itself, we did.. We are the stupid ones 😄 And it probably should be called non biological intelligence or maybe just digital intelligence
  9. Also if you look up Kluson Revolution.. Sorta waffleback... I cant find any proper waffles.. This and the above are the closest I can find.
  10. How about these? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/401750903261?epid=12034568305&hash=item5d8a3849dd:g:qvQAAOSwPEtctlA2&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAABAPVbHH9BjTxpn%2FzS%2BxZeDV0%2B4RTb%2F%2FHQ3teynRkCch7WHsJicNuxZyBpJf4UnOoqQPZxbRpdeD%2BwH3GPd2Pw7%2B%2Bwd%2BXy%2FlLD4lxP1h5pDue3eelByc7nzE8Df%2Bvk9MtHRSQrQ68F4zigzeS91yBL23qgwB%2BxrrPEVmIgtqdkTK0JKY%2FuenOCeP2TowV6HOPOtwndXK1Vf70cZD3mlQ7lG1rqAqELA4HHlbkP9Eu6GCDdV8yY6pRdxZYSurTqD7uQ%2BEdwuO37m%2FCkEiNIZi9uhMwyaFQdIOaHEJX3EQ5zbpOTiFLzLDgGpEWP7GQcrogRFqNjYe3mb5c1CsMjsfzQ6ro%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR87l8_eSYg
  11. Ha.. that actually happens in both films.. One they go to Spain and then to Australia.
  12. Friday night dinners? Or something like that.. Never seen it, just seen it advertised.
  13. Yeah that was good (the inbetweeners). They did two films too.. Also one that comes to mind if you can stand Ricky Gervais is one called Extras about a TV/Film extra working his way through the business and each week they would have some super famous person on it as a guest star (the ones making the TV and films hes in)....

  15. Not British but Irish Father Ted One of my faves in the last decade or so is The League of Gentlemen. Very dark almost Monty Python like in the way theres only a few of them that play all the main character and sometimes dress up as women and its more like a bunch of sketches with a very very loose storyline.. To say it is weird is an understatement.
  16. Alan Partridge.. Theres Knowing me Knowing You which was his first show. Its a fake chat show and then after theres two series of Im Alan Partridge which shows what happens to him after his TV show ends. Post Blackadder and Only Fools. Partridge has to be one of the funniest characters we have had. He also has a film called Alpha Papa but only watch that after getting to know who he is. Red Dwarf is good but is overall much more silly as a comedy. Almost more slapstick but it has its moments and some actual good sci/fi stories (theres been 10 seasons of that). Ohh.. Also The Day Today.. Man that show was hilarious. Its a fake news reporting show (this also had Steve Coogan who plays Alan Partridge). And then after this show there was one with the same guy called Brass Eye which was similar to the above but less a news show and more current affairs .
  17. Yeah... Its quite interesting.. Ive seen a few videos on self learning AI
  18. Lol.. Slightly more seriously, the speed at which technology is evolving is speeding up... Im no conspiracy type person, theres no telling exactly whats going to happen when AI and robots meet and the technology gets perfected.. But it is happening, I think we can all see that. It used to be that say for example processing power for computers used to double every two years (Moores law) but I think we have gone way past that now and are speeding up quicker than anyone could have imagined.
  19. And no, im not talking about robotic tuners... I happened across this video.. Imagine one of these with actual proper self learning AI... I love how it seems so enthusiastic with the task at hand 🙂
  20. The thing with racing games is that games mechanics wise they are mostly the same.. Accelerate, break and turn... I mean there are other types but the basic racing game hasnt changed much in that way.. This is what they look like today. You can also do other things in these games like mod your cars and stuff like that.
  21. I have played them most of my life.. I stopped for about a decade or so as I just got bored with it, at that point I had been a game designer and could not turn off my analytical side and would just internally critique them while playing and think what I would have done instead.. But sometime late last year I got a Nintendo Switch which I have the odd session but nothing like I used to do.. Even if I wanted too my hands wont take it any more so I just do it on occasion now.
  22. Of course they can.. But this is meant to be a discussion.. Ive heard all the nonsense slated at video games and most of it is unsubstantiated nonsense... So I genuinely wanted to know if its just that or he has some other reason... Whats the point of people just stating an opinion without stating why when asked? Theres no discussion there and isnt that the point of being on here? Its not a particularly complex subject to be honest.
