  1. My nephew bought one of the Fender GB twins, they have more useable headroom IMO
  2. Good score, anymore dirt on that amp and you could grow spuds.
  3. This is how screwed up my priorities are, my first reaction to your post is, " What? And let him dry fire a rimfire weapon? Are you crazy? Load the damn thing First!" Lol
  4. How do we know your aren't another reptilian, you know, like Tom Hanks, and Bill Gates. 👽
  5. We have heard it in elevators, I preferred the Blues version over the synthesized techno version. But then I like bourbon clean or on the rocks, not mixed with anything else so I might not be the authority on what others like. Maybe this is better
  6. Memphis is the home of Stax Records, the label recorded and released the following artist, Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, Bill Withers, Sam & Dave, Johnny Taylor, Albert King, The other thing all these and other soul, blues, and R&R acts had in common was ? They all recorded with the house band, Booker T and the MGs , which consisted of black and white players, I wouldn't over play the race card here. Anyways, I just wanted to share good music, when I posted this video I didn't know the Blues Beatles were a Brazilian act. Maybe we should celebrate the fact that two of our favorite things, ( mine at least) the Beatles and the Blues, can coexist and thrive internationally.
  7. Yeah, I enjoyed the guitar solo, I don't care where the guy is from, he is dam good
  8. God forbid anyone present a song they love played in any fashion that breaks away from the original. Oops! The Beatles did that themselves
  9. Who would have thunk it? Blues is big in Brazil? I saw one video of them in the studio in 2017, I could swear Buddy Miller was playing with them.
  10. This is a California law, and according to the brainiacs I. Sacramento, everything must have a cancer warning on it. They probably get royalties
  11. Here is the band in concert , I admit it's an aquirred taste, but it proves how endearing the Fab Four music is,
  12. That is a cool gitar, an Ovation headstock, Washburn style bridge, and doves inlaid on the fretboard. Maybe it's a prototype .
  13. Checking out the days news in recent weeks I have learned that there is at least two men in this world with much power seriously warning that he might launch nuclear weapons. In recent videos and photos Putin looks rather sickly doesn't he?
  14. Who can forget the classic comical Young Frankenstein?
  15. Being There , another Peter Sellers movie that would be relevant today, just watch the trailer
  16. Thanks for the demo, it seems this would be a great tool for many styles, and staying in tune would be a great option as well!
  17. First I hear about it, I wish these websites would quit recycling old stories. So feel free to send the guitar Nazis to put me down like an old horse
  18. No more modifying guitars just to see them lose value when you sell them, and you get to keep the Bigsby
  19. Every day is v------- appreciation day at Jaxson's house.
  20. Good points, as we all know, there is justice is unattainable, it is an abstract concept, specially when trying to obtain justice for the wrongs suffered by people who have been dead foir a century or more. A child is killed in an accident caused by a drunk driver, how do you extract any measure of justice for the family? It's impossible, you can punish the person responsible., that doesn't make the family whole again, it just punishes the perp and causes misery for their family. How do people who were wronged by slavery get justice when they died 100 years ago?
  21. It all comes back to that one word, compliance. The more a suspect resist compliance, the officer has no choice other than to increase the level of force aka, discomfort, or pain,
  22. I don't know how old the average forum member, but I'm sure many can remember that we got along just fine with 30 minutes of nightly national news followed by 30 minutes of local and state news. Seriously, I have to ask myself almost daily, are we better off today with sensory overload? Perhaps, just maybe our brains just are not prepared for the 24/7 stimulation provided by our computers,. News, controversy, angst, self debasement and harassment from people who mean absolutely nothing to us. The internet and all the crap that comes with it is a double edged sword, want to know why young people are so screwed up today? Ask yourself why is aboriginal people are happier then civilised people today?
  23. Har Vie. Thank you for what may be the best post on this thread, it has been a rough few years, and the bad news just keep a coming. You offer a positive reaction to hard times, live in the moment, free up time to spend with family and loved ones. Turn off the news!
