Call Val Bolitho in Bozeman (406) 539-9229. Up until her retirement a year ago she was the custom inlay person at the Gibson plant. She has the expertise, and can talk toy you about the inlay process, potential cost, and problems.

Telluride music. Talk to Tom. Pics of the guitar on their website. There is a nicely done hole damage repair on the side of the players side lower bout. On consignment, not a big amount of wiggle room on the price. Was just not different enough from my TV for the price. It did win the A/B shoot out however. Good luck!

Saw you are considering the Gibson Homecoming thing in Bozeman next year - last year's gathering was the most fun I have had in a long time - pencil it on your calendar if you can.

Just ordered a Custom Shop Southern Jumbo thru Paul at Music Villa. Advanced "X" Bracing,Red Spruce Top, Luthier's Choice neck, MOP Gibson logo on the headstock with No Crown, small 30's burst - forgot to ask/confirm with him, all the scalloping is pretty standard, right? Hate to think I just ordered a guitar with no scalloped braces.

From my deck I can see the top of Mount Sopris. The base of the Mt is reputedly where John Denver was inspired to write "Rocky Mountain High". I should learn that song.

W i n t e r s p a r r o w
I am a winter sparrow, a small cirrous scamp,
A gray ball of audacity in the wilderness of the cold.
I am a jumping syncope among the singing melodies
Hundred-directional and nimble, cutting shout in the morning
I am a bird from the clay, in the clay I relive,
I’m transforming the clay in a chirping stream
Funny rhymes are composing my larky steps
On the empty pages of the book of the God.
And Go...
