  1. I used the stewmac stuff in your link to reattach mine, but I fully removed it, flattened it and put it back on. Once I removed the guard, I could see the previous owner had the pick guard reattached also. I don’t think there’s anything that’s going to keep the lifting parts down honestly. The tendency to curl very strong.
