2. Sal, you playing down at the shore or up north? I would love to come and cheer you on.
3. Sorry for your loss Sal. Yogi looks like he was a great dog. I use to have a Basset myself his name was Brutus he will show Yogi around up there. Great job on the song also.
4. Its sika spruce and agree with tunner change and also hate that they cover the rosette with the guard. Im a suker for a nice burst and quilted maple but it may be a little to much.
5. Yes AAA quilted maple back and sides and new autumn brust top and wildfire burst back and sides.
6. Nice addition Sal i am starting to have the same problem so many great guitars must buy more. Did you pick her up in our happy place in Asbury Park?
7. Just found this on facebook any thoughts? Found out its coming out this month and its a limtied run of 30 i think. URL=http://s977.photobucket.com/user/spank005/media/Mobile%20Uploads/FB_IMG_1435164226997_zpsrnegrxoe.jpg.html]
8. You are one the money with your assessment of this guitar. I just got mine back took her to russos they did a little tweeking lowered the action and put some martin tony rice retro strings on her and wow. Now that its set up its a whole new animal bass for days those guys over there really know what they are doing. Love this guitar
9. I have 2 Gibson's and both were on what I consider the high side for action but in spec with what is recommended. My j-45 I had put that one to almost Taylor specs and is much easier to play up the neck. I left my new SJ-200 at factory setup and it's harder to play but sounds great. 64 thousand dollar question for a less experienced player does it make that much of a difference either way?
10. Thanks man every free minute I get.
11. URL=http://s977.photobucket.com/user/spank005/media/20150318_153015_zps961wmpbq.jpg.html] After a day with her I'm very happy with the playability and look of the big girl. She sounds great but because of the pick guards she is a bit on the quite side of most SJ-200s but that is exactly what I was hoping for. Hide glue bone nut and saddle maple back and sides make for a very bright sound but because of pick guards it sounds awesome very good for changing dynamics of your sound. If you want a loud guitar this may not be for you but if you want that SJ sound without it being to bright then she is right up your ally.
12. That's how I have this one I looked at it for about a minute next thing I know my bank account is very low. What happened? Oh yeah I have a problem.
13. URL=http://s977.photobucket.com/user/spank005/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20150317_135555_zps6wm6bpgf.jpg.html]http:// Here she is my new SJ200 Bob Dylan players edition. Really love this one has a great sound even with that extra guard. Maple is so nice on the back and just overall a dam good buy. Thanks for the heads up Sal I always wanted a big girl and the opportunity came and I took it.
14. Thanks for the heads up Sal just picked up the sj200 dylan for less then a standard sj will post pics when I get her.
