  1. For what its worth the PuPs in my ES 339 are part numbers ACPNHCN-4 (Neck) and ACPNHCB-4 (Bridge). See pics in this post . The Serial Number on my guitar is 11121502213 and the Model Number is: DOT ES 339 CH. Bought from Dawsons (UK) in March 2012. How do you decode the serial number?
  2. I've updated had the original post with pictures of the wiring harness and pickups.
  3. Hi First Post for me but I thought someone may find it useful. Having been the proud owner of an Epi339 PRO for a few weeks I couldn't resist the temptation to sort her out in the way I like. I'm not a lover of having 2 volume and 2 tone controls, too much to think about and twiddle during live sets. I have enough problems trying to remember words and chords and pedal settings etc. Anyway to cut a long story short I took all the gubins out of the 339 and replaced the Push Pull switches with Push Push switches (sweaty fingers on Top Hat Knobs don't work). I now have a switch on the Vol Control for the Bridge Pup and a switch on the Tone Control for the Neck Pup. Pots and Knobs are fitted in the 2 other holes but aren't connected. Whilst I had the harness out I took the time to sketch out the original schematic so if any of you are wondering about tone circuits etc, here it is. Nice to see braided cables throughout and good quality soldering. Getting it apart wasn't too hard nor was reassembly, everything except Pups goes in and out through the lower F hole. BTW forgot to mention that I LOVE this guitar, it sounds great, its sooooo damned playable and looks fantastic especially after the pick guard is off. UPDATE: I have added pictures of the wiring harness and the PuPs Epi 339 Wiring 1220.PDF
