Greetings for 2023! Years ago I was drivin south from the SF bay area on I-5 freeway on my way to visit folks in AZ,,and as you get close to LA from the north side,,you come opon an area called "Grapevine Pass" which is a portion of the SAN Bernadino mountain range and into the LA basin/city limits zone. And its a beautiful drive thru,,so 2 weeks ago I remembered this trip and decided to pen+ record a tune about it. I used my trusty 84' Kramer Stryker Gtr w/ Gibson PAF pickups. AAHHH Yes,,,when quality was an artform in metal,,plastic and rubber. awsome bowtie

Id take it all apart,,sand it down w/120 grit paper,,blow it off with the aircompressor real good,,and put about 5 coats of Linseed oil ,,hand rubbed,,let each coat dry for at least 1 day,,and its as smooth as could be,,and brings out the natural wood grain in the wood

Sometimes a Jazz/Fusion/Rock song is fun,,,heres "Outside My Window"

Wrote this in about 15 minutes while watching car racing on TV. Took approx 5 hrs to record,, another 2 hrs for vid,,after 5 takes,, "ONE MORE ROUND" on my 140$ off craigslist Epiphone G-310 SG. Used Fender Mustang amps.

If I even see one on my porch,,or in the house I go to hardware/big depot bx store and get the carpenter ant powder you sprinikle around the foundation of house or garage and it works! They ingest it,,take it back to the nest,,and its over from that point. I did it a few years ago,,and havent seen one since.
