2012 Ebony - I absolutely love this guitar. Play it every day.

I bought my 335 trans satin last June. It only took about a week for it to start turning shiny where my right arm rubs the body. I use the Gibson pump polish but I'm thinking the shine his here to stay. It doesn't appear to be grimy or dirty just shiny.

loved it. Great job. bought mine last summer because B.B. King's The Thrill is Gone is my all time favourite guitar song. Don't know why but it gives me goose bumps. So when I picked up a guitar for the first time three and a half years ago I said to myself that I would own one and I would learn to play that song. Check and check. Just wish I had the guts to play it in front of anyone.

Just purchased my first gibson after a lot of patience and savings - 2012 plain top satin trans black. I thought I did a lot of research on the guitar but was surprised when it arrived and when I opened the case the neck had bindings.?! Now it is not a big deal for me. I love the guitar but I can't figure why I can't find a single picture of a trans black satin finish with binding but thats what I got. Did I miss something in my research or did Gibson make a change this year? Even the guys at the authorized dealer thought I was off my rocker when I mentioned this to them. Any ideas? I'v
