Thanks for the information! I will try and gain some info from Gibson. Here is another view...it still has the pick-guard protection on it!

Hello everyone! I'm obviously new here, but not totally new to guitars. I just bought a 2001 Gibson ES-335, and was not sure what color sunburst it is. Thinking black cherry sunburst!??! Thanks for your help.
