  2. Looks kinda like an E.M.G.,and a P-90?Must have modelling too.
  3. I like mothers carnuba paste for heavy cleanings, and Gibson polish for quick detailing.
  4. do NOT use metal polish whatever you do.The best thing to use is plain old glass wax.if you're in the states you can get it at True Value,or any chain store like that.My friend is a metal polisher for competion Harleys, and he's the one who schooled me.Any other kind of polish has material in it that strips a coat off the metal to get to the next layers shine.Glass wax doesnt have any granuals in it.
  5. I THINK THAT'S A QUESTION FOR TECH,NOT TOO MANY OF US ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO OWN ONE,AND THE LAST ONE I SAW WAS IN A DISPLAY CASE @ HARD ROCK ORLANDO!
  6. I THINK MY NAME SAYS IT ALL!!! RECTO TRIPLE,WITH TWO 4+12,S,AND THE HOPE THAT THE NEIGHBORS ARENT HOME YET!!
  7. ABSOLUTELY GET IT REPLACED.THAT WOULD DRIVE ME CRAZY!
  8. My first guitar was a Memphis, bought with the change my father put in a HI-C can.(P.O.S)I later sold my first car to by a brand new Peavey Nitro, which I still have as a clockL.O.L. I eventually fell in love with Jacksons after my teen guitar idol Rhandy Rhoads got his.I played them exclusively for 18 years, and still love them, but I wanted something WITHOUT a F loyd R ose on it,with more versatility. To make sure I could make the switch,I bought an ESP paul copy with EMG's.What an amazing guitar for 800 bucks. It felt pretty awkward at first playing an arch top,but I began to use it to my advantage, and found I really dug it.So that was that.I could do it after all.I was going to get MAJOR heat from my frinds who played Gibsons all these years, with the I told you so's,but what the hell right? So I did some research, and found the G.T.,with coil tapping, dual truss rods, and some not so neccesary frills, and ordered it.I almost laid an egg when I tracked its postal progress and saw the weight @23lbs !!! I love the guitar, but have to trade off to the E.S.P,after a few songs just to save myself a trip to my physical therapy.I would really like to get another one, maybe a supreme, but I will definitely check the weight first !,Scott Peace
  9. I would definitely go to Gibson, especially if the guitar is only a year old.Who knows what other problems can pop up,and its better to have it documented with the factory. You can still go and have it fixed, but having it on record is very important for future claims.
