  1. We have a 4 bedroom pad and a 2-car garage so we are lucky enough where I can keep my work station madness in the garage, but the deal is I have to cleanup at the end of the day regardless of what project I work on. We also have a nice large landing area upstairs where we have the business area. The other bedroom is for the guitar cases and guitars that are in cases and for the most part they fit in the closet and out of site and used as a guest area. And the other bedroom is a guest area as well if friends or family get too wasted to drive. The one draw back is our backyard is quite narrow so we give up real-estate there, but there's just me, my sweeter half and Rocky.
  2. I grew tired of tripping over the PA tripods and hitting my head on the ceiling mic stands. I also updated VIP lounge seating area, as guests kept spilling beers and drinks on the carpet because they had no place put them. And most importantly suspending my 1960's Rams helmet from the ceiling. So I elevated the speakers and I repositioned the articulating ceiling stand booms, so that all you have to do when done is loosen and lift the boom.
  3. The seller responded to a couple of inquires I had. She stated the guitar belonged to her husband and was part of the divorce settlement. She stated the guitar pictured is the guitar that will be sent. She also stated the shipping was understated and it will be $90 and asked me once the parcel is delivered, if I would immediately leave a feedback, as Ebay is holding up the funds until a feedback is left. And if I could paypal her the extra $70 for the shipping on a different transaction. I responded if everything checks out, I would acquiesce to both of her request. .
  4. True.... But I have purchased from sellers with 0 feedback on more than a few occasions and the package was delivered and it matched the description. What's the worst that can happen other than getting a refund. Plus if the instrument does show up I'm gonna sell it for 3x the buying price.
  5. I'm not nervous at all. I'll give it two weeks and if there is no movement on the order I'll request a refund.
  6. lol. I don't think everyone... Most will help without adding snide comments.
  7. That's my thinking.... Although if the seller ships an empty box, that might add a wrinkle.
  8. I saw that too: But the Description reads as below: We shall see as it may never show up but the refund process will super easy if it turns out to be a dud. Year: 1976 Kalamazoo, MI In perfect condition! Selling because I plan to move. Great sound!
  9. Every morning I search eBay in hopes of finding a miracle deal and today I did, but with the hope this instrument will actually be shipped. As a safeguard I purchased it with PayPal credit in the event this turns out to be a hoax. See link below: https://www.ebay.com/itm/374756300134#shpCntId
  10. My dads 65 Impala always had ashes and butts in the pull-out ash tray. I still can recall the smell of that car to this day..... feet, farts and cigarettes. In todays world that car would have been a site to see.... Mom and Dad driving to Gemco with six kids with their heads and arms hanging out the windows a with no seat belts on.
  11. My sweeter half is a horror film fanatic. She finds some of the scariest horror films. I just lay on the couch with a pillow nearby to cover my eyes...... I'm not big on suspense.
  12. I have..... My pal had a Gretsch Falcon that had this unique Bigsby that had a B-bender. Very cool.
  13. I started playing clubs in 1979 and just got used to cigarette smoke and all my gear smelling like an ash tray. Plus my dad smoked up until he was hit with his first heart attack at the age of 56. Though I don't smoke, the smoke from cigarettes don't bother me and neither do cigarette smokers. I've purchased a couple of used guitars that had that ash tray smell, but they play and sound good so it was no big deal. Eventually the smell dissipates..... I'm certainly not going to hold a grudge against a guitar that's stinky.... lol.... Hell if you played high school football and went into the locker room with 50 other teammates during hell week, you would whished you were in a club filled with cigarette smoke. lol.
  14. LOL.... I'm good with Fender, I just think their USA made instruments are over-priced. And I really don't like Fender amps. For some reason there's a tonal frequency in every Fender amp I have plugged into that makes my teeth hurt. I can't explain it. But I need a guitar that can give me a lap steel effect.
  15. No worries ill ask around and see if I can get you one to buy. and don't listen to some that are knocking yours and your daughters guitar choice. Some folks around here at times have nothing better to do. I'll keep you posted
  16. Since it looks like we are gonna be doing some country shhhstuff as part of the list, I purchased the below twanger. Actually I cant wait to play around with it..... Gotta brush up on my rockabilly finger picking again.
  17. Would love to see a pic of your R7 Custom LP (BB). I like Grovers too but I thought I would add the Wafflebacks as those are period correct for the 72 LPC. One thing to note is the Grover tuner hole cannot be reused for one of the waffle back tuner holes. I filled the tuner hole and had to re-drill. Glad the tuner body was able to cover the rework.
  18. There will be some additional space for sure. The Backwards V comes with a hard case that's the size of an EDS1275 case.
  19. I can't do religious horror type films. They just give me bad dreams. My mom took all of us to see The Exorcist at the theaters when we were little kids and I had nightmares for months after that. We think my mom did this as a life lesson so we wouldn't be little buttholes.
  20. You'll need a soft case that's made for a double neck: See below: https://www.thomannmusic.com/rockbag_gig_bag_doppelhalsgitarrebass.htm
  21. Right out of the box this geetar played fantastic. This is my second CS LPC guitar and both have been spot on.
  22. I'm not an accordion fan, but that is damn incredible.
  23. It wasn't planned but due to pickup pole position differences on me new Gibson BB I decided to make me 2022 BB LPC a 1972 LPC Reissue. Typically in 1972 they came with witch hat knobs but I don't like those.... They remind me of a Fender amp. I'm keeping the toggle switch cover because it looks so damn cool. Mods = Waffle Back Tuners with 10mm Bushings: Neck and Bridge 1983 Gibson Tim Shaw Era Pups: ABR1 Bridge: Top Hat Volume Knobs: From this: To This:
