    Howdy, I'm Jim from Southern Ontario. I've been playing guitar since about 1960, got my first Gibson, a '58 J50 (my profile pic). I had to sell it to my brother in 1969 when I ran into some financial difficulties. Luckily, I still get to play it when I visit. I'm afraid I'm not a loyal Gibson owner. I also have Goya, Martin and Gretsch guitars, but right now, an 1950 LG1 is my "go to" guitar.

    Howdy OLD LG1,

    I don't know how old you consider old, but I have a 1950 LG1 that I'm quite happy with. It's my first non dreadnought size flat top and I use it quite regularly.
