Thanks a million ! That's the one . Ordered it right away. I'm planning to put a B7 on the Sheraton 2 pro and it shall look cool with it.
  6. Hi Guys ! Can somebody please tell me where to get the "CUSTOM MADE" sticker ?
  7. Hi guys ! It would be great, if someone could answer the following questions : a) what are the values of the pots and the caps ? B) do the PUs have short or long legs ? Thanx in advance !
  8. My cousin lives in Redding, she evacuated and is in Chico now. She'll be going south tomorrow to stay with her sister.
  9. How can they make the LP Jr. DC with such an ugly pickguard ?!

Happy 4th to all of you down there! Greetings from the true north ! Rock On dudes !
  11. I had a 335 and somehow could not bond with it, ergo sold it. Now a few years ago I ran into a 2004 333 and I was absolutely impressed: it felt good and the pickups were sounding excellent. Gave them covers and changed the knobs to reflectors. This 333 blows many 335s out of the water. 490 and 498 pickups are smooth and crisp enough and the output is perfect. And it has the natural finish. The former owner carried this guitar all over the world gigging here and there. Meanwhile we became good friends and when I tell him "lets jam some..." he replies "but bring the 333 ! "
  12. I got this guitar for a while now and really like the craftsmanship, playability and great detail work. However the pickups seem to be a bit muddy to me. Thinking of replacing with Bareknuckle Stormy Mondays. Has anyone replaced pu's on this model? Any advice will be appreciated. Cheers, C.E.

  14. Exactly, this is what I do too. I have 16 guitars , they all live in the open and are ready to be played any time and they love it. No case queens for me.
  15. Lately I am contemplating about changing the pickups of my 2008 Firebird V as they seem a bit harsh to me. I'm trending towards a Mojotone Johnny Winter set. Any of you bird players have an opinion and or switched pickups in your bird? Mojotone is not cheap and I want to be sure it is worth it.
  16. Had the sunburst SE custom 24 and sold it. Was pretty, but it just did not make the cut and it really did feel like a toy. What Gretsch did you sell? I would never part with my 6120.
  17. Looks great !! Where did you get that pickguard from ? I'd like to get one !
  18. Signed. Fellow aviators deserve it!
  19. What a great wife! Now I think,I'm lucky in this regard as well: Not to long ago my wife made a list/note for what to do with our next tax return. It read like this: * Repair garage door * New toilet ** 1 Gretsch guitar Now isn't that something. I already have a Gretsch Chet Atkins, but she really likes the new G5422TG in snowflake white which seems to be the poor man's White Falcon. And I agree.
  20. Don't ditch the 339! I got one and it is really great. However, I got me the Sheraton Pro 2 weeks ago and I am still impressed with the craftsmanship, attention to detail and sounds I can get. Just listen to the Rusty Wright Band and you'll see what a good player can do with this fiddle.
  21. What kind of scratch remover did you use?
  22. I agree. This is absolutely nuts. My Firebird V is just fine with me and it was under $ 2000. What's with these signature models? I don't get it.
