  1. Not sure if this has been posted already. Pretty interesting nonetheless. http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2015/06/07/john-lennons-love-me-do-guitar-found-and-is-up-for-sale/?_r=0 sorry I see now that there is already a thread started. Mods feel free to delete.
  2. Juan is right and only 75 made. I was lucky enough to snag one myself. So glad I did because it's really a nice Special Edition J-45.
  3. Three Marlenas, The Wallflowers Breathe,Acoustic Version, David Gilmour Somebody's Crying, Chris Isaak
  4. Martin actually has that D-35 photo right on their websites' homepage. That top is pretty bad looking in my opinion.
  5. Congrats on the custom. Really nice. I'm so impressed with mine as you are with yours. Quality of workmanship is just flawless. My Martins are collecting dust these days.
  6. Thanks for posting the link JC. So strange to have a guitar in hand that is not listed on the website.

What a great combination of features. Congrats and enjoy that beauty.
  8. Congrats on the new J-45. Black is cool.
  9. Which one is considered the Hendrix? The D7#9 or the D7b9 ? The D7 b9 gives me fits.
  10. Very nice looking 45. I like that guard too.
  11. Excellent thanks for posting. Never learned that song. Some interesting chords. Going to learn it now. :)
  12. Thanks for the help(except for info on whether pins are slotted or un-slotted) and advice. I went ahead and ordered the AA pins from Elderly.
  13. The AA pins are made from Galalith. Not your ordinary plastic. Higher quality more dense material from what I've heard. Sometimes I can detect a difference from one to the other. Sometimes not but, the AA pins sure do look nice. I do know bone always sounds crappy to me.
  14. Thanks. I was hoping there was a set of AA's that would fit the J-45. Forgot to ask, slotted or unslotted. I can't tell as I haven't had the pins out of the guitar yet.
