  1. Hi Twang, its been a while and I haven't heard anything from you. I just wanted to make sure you didn't forget about me.

  2. That's very interesting, I knew the V was old, but I had no idea that it was such a specialty guitar. Knowing that now I'm very happy that I was able to get one (back in 2010): by far my favorite guitar.
  3. Awesome , thanks. I've been looking around for a while and it seems like everything I find is about Les Paul style guitars.
  4. Hi, I'm in the process of modding my old Epiphone SG G-400 and now I'm looking for a good replacement bridge that will fit my guitar and not cause me to go out of tune when I use my Bigsby vibrato. Right now I'm looking at the Graph Tech ResoMax NV1 and GB-0596-010 Chrome Roller Tunematic from "AllParts." I'm pretty sure I need something with a large post diameter (6mm), but do you all think a roller tune-o-matic style will make much of a difference when I'm using my vibrato as opposed to the traditional style? Does anyone have any other suggestions as to what I should use as a replacement bridge? -MikeL
  5. Thanks for the info. That's kind of sad though, do you know why it's been stopped? Is it coming back at some point?
  6. Alright, thank you!

  7. Alright, sounds good. Thanks!

  8. Gotta check my templates...

  9. Hi guys, I'm just curious as to what happened to the basic Flying V electric guitar. I've been on Guitar Center.com, Sweetwater.com, musiciansfriend.com, and American Musical Supply and all I can find are two signature models. Gibson doesn't even have it on their website. I'm not looking to buy because I already own one, I was just trying to look up the specs for it. Does anyone know what happened to this guitar and why it can't be found anywhere?
  10. Hi Twang,

I heard that you do custom pickguards and I am hoping to install a full-face pickguard for my Epiphone SG. If you would be willing to help me out: How much would something like that cost? What kind of information about the styling do you need from me?
