I'm currently contemplating an upgrade and would appreciate your insights on the Gibson Les Paul Special 2023 in TV YELLOW with visible grain. I previously owned a Les Paul Junior Special from 2013, and I found it to be lacking resonance, almost as if the wood was too soft.
I'm curious if anyone has experience with the Les Paul Special 2023 and if there are noticeable improvements in terms of build quality and resonance compared to the 2013 Junior Special. I've noticed that the 2023 model is priced at more than double the cost, and I'm wondering if the increase in price reflects a significant enhancement in materials or craftsmanship.
