  1. this is the newest. this is also a $5 straight from china bridge but imho this is the most fun and this is the jazziest there is a lot of other epis but too many to post pics of.
  2. Dude buy it send it yo me ill give u $185 for it
  3. That's a hard question to answer.jimmy page is definitely up there i love Paul waggoner and greg allman is hard to look past.i guess that's my top three
  4. Just got in a brand new special 1 custom shop ltd in worn tv yellow.got a sticker and a poster.that's it no hex wrench no cord .oh i got an owners manual and that's nice because i always forget how to own a guitar.
  5. I'm with bender on this one.regular slinkys are great.although i haven't had much problem with the super slinky 9s either.but when i break a string it always seems to be right over my bridge bucker.
  6. On the streets.lol. everywhere really.i can't remember my first guitar.there was on old strat knock off in my brothers room growing up.i put a lot of time in on it but i didn't even know how to tune it so i wasn't learning.i guess iv had hands on string experience for about 12 years and i still feel like I'm learning how to play.

  8. I would try shimming the neck.its a bolt on and odly enough iv just taken necks off and put them back on with no extra work and the intonation worked itself out.but a good shimm job would probably help. i have 3 sg specials i love them but iv put work into all of them.also the tun-o-matic on those things is great,i really doubt that's the issue. i wouldn't mess with the truss rod until iv checked every other possibility.or ill give u $50 for it and pay shipping. or u can pay shipping and ill set it up for you for $50.
  9. My mom says a lot but what i think fits here best is when i was 6 my mother asked me what i wanted to do when i grew up.i said "i want to play guitar".she told me "you can't have both"
  10. Too many to count.mine are all spread out.at the studio,at the house,in the shop,in the practice space.but 3sg specials. 2les paul jr. A black beauty. nighthawk. an sg jr. les paul special 2. Oh and the alleykat. there could be more epi's but i think that's it
  11. You have yourself some beautiful epis.take care of them.
  12. i woulda done that before going back to ebay.its not as scary as you might think.its just a hole and some threads.if you can use a drill you can do it
  13. It's a toss up really. both of these guitars are very different. set up and action play a big role in how a guitar plays, maybe the Wildkat you played wasn't set up properly. I would say that the Wildkat is a much more versatile guitar than the lP plus top. but who doesn't want a Les Paul. you could get a cheap used Wildkat off the internet and then get something like a Les Paul Jr. Guitar Center has them for only $107.99 US right now. and I think both would still fit your budget.
  14. i don't have an epi dealer near me at all.not one.so i do alot of trading, ebay watching, craigslist searching, and networking to get the epiphones i want.a lot of the time i don't have the resources to be picky and thats kinda what i like.it has forced me to do all kinds of work to my guitars(not just my epis)and has helped me learn way more about them.the appreciation and time i put into my guitars is something i hold great pride in.i can turn a $60 p.o.s into a guitar i won't go on stage without in a matter of days.thats one of the reasons i don't sell any of them.but some people strive for perfection at a guitar shop, unfortunately thats why there is so many people disappointed with their guitars.in my opinion its not the guitars fault.its yours.
