That sounds about right

I have a re-issue Gibson southern jumbo, and the label inside the guitar has the numbers 20400005 but the numbers on the neck block is 20401005. I have checked with the Gibson fon number site and it says that 20400005 was made on 9th February 2000 and 20401005 9th February 2001 . Why is this?
