  1. yeah. I can only imagine they had to be stored in bad conditions. looks like they may have been stored in a unit close to the ocean!
  2. correct. it's made in China. the serial number is meant to replicate the 60's sn (as a Tribute)
  3. the serial number looks ok. I wouldn't hold too much stock on the "2012-2014"...they still make this model in 2015. probably not a fake.
  4. I think they are the same tuners as the standard full size Casino. I recommend buying a cheap set of digital calipers and measuring the tuners you have and see if the measurements match the specs on Stew Macs site.
  5. Stew Mac has some that should work. http://www.stewmac.com/Hardware_and_Parts/Tuning_Machines/Guitar_and_Solid_Peghead/Gotoh_Vintage-style_Oval_Knob_3and3_Tuners.html there are also a set of Grovers that are the same style
  6. because they would probably make it as cheap as the cable.
  7. you're right. maybe they should supply an amp too.
  8. go to a hardware store and pick up a set. they are pretty inexpensive. slk is correct 4mm
  9. yes, Epiphone.com under the "Support" menu.
  10. should be solid... current specs: "The EJ-200CE’s classic shape is made with a Solid Spruce top with select maple, back and sides"
  11. the S generally refers to solid top. as far as the S for sunburst; it's usually coded VS for vintage sunburst.
  12. the only difference (besides the finish) would be the Alnico Pro pickups and coil tapping and different tuners.
