I'm having vegan sausages with ham and burger dressing. It's sort of a peaceful protester/redneck combo.

I can't even watch the news anymore. Just because there are things to fear doesn't mean it has to be blared at us 24/7 at 120dB. And the alternatives are usually polar extremes - on one side, Breitbart, on the other, The Unwashed Feet Vegan Community Channel.

That does indeed look like a pair of pliers were used. I know, because I've done it myself before I realized you should loosen the strings and you don't need pliers. To my credit, I put some cloth in between so I didn't wreck the knobs. It's one of... probably three wise choices I've made on this planet. Us Asparagus Rexes didn't become extinct for nothin', you know.

Face masks, until you're all done. Then a thorough wash of hands before taking the mask off. If you all wear masks and don't exhibit symptoms, he should be fine. If it survives on surfaces for X amount of days, you'd literally need to disinfect every fiber inside every case. I would focus on no droplets entering each other's mouths, noses or eyes. Sorry to hear about your friend. That's one helluva fight.

I clomped around being Asparagus Rex and made growling dinosaur sounds - with a smile, as it is well known that The A. Rex was the friendliest of all the dinosaurs. The sun's out, so I'll do some outdoorsy things today. (I do not plan on being Asparagus Rex in public, though.)

I flipped through some headlines the other day, and this came up. Didn't read the article. But I think he's joking. I read his book, he doesn't come across as a stupid guy.

I believe French to be a hoax. It's one of my lesser-known conspiracy theories, but it's there. I base it on sound empirical studies (admittedly small sample group): literally NO ONE who took French in high school remembers any of it.
